Only been here a couple times. Food is good, but presentation is lacking. Visually the plates are lacking, a little garnish goes a long way. My chelada style Budweiser is my favorite part of dinner, and the second is always better than the first. I will return to try other dishes. Chili Verde plate was good as was the steak and shrimp fajitas.
Marieta's East...the place to go in east county if you're looking for authentic mexican food. We've been coming here for 20+ years and rarely does it let us down.
I actually enjoy sitting in the bar area on a random weekday afternoon, when you can have the area mostly to yourself, great service, BOMB chips, and good food for a meh-decent price.
My go-to is the bean burrito wet, or the veggie fajitas (perfectly crisped).
I took my parents here who have been eating authentic Mexican food their whole lives and they were very impressed. Everything was so flavorful. The enchiladas, the carne asada, and the margarita were all incredible. Dessert is totally worth it in the end with some flan or some churros with chocolate sauce. This place is amazing. 10/10. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Stopped here for the first time. Service was great, food was good. The building was a little old, but that just means it’s been around for a long time.
