Just avoid this place at all cost. This is an absolute joke. I paid 22 bucks for a cold sandwich and a side of greens with no flavour. The meat tastes store bought.
Go down the street to Celtic Cowboy and get twice as much food of better quality for the same price.
This was unacceptable.

The Brisket Dinner is chopped up 1 inch cubes of brisket, very dry and tough, and then Drowned in BBQ sauce. I prefer my brisket not sauced, and not so similar to cardboard. That dinner was $40, for two servings. Pretty disappointing.
The BBQ sauce was tasty. They should bottle that and sell it. That is the only thing I can recommend.
I would like to support a small start up BBQ place. But I cannot back Aggie's.

I don't like leaving poor reviews for restaurants but after going here twice it's been very subpar. It's not bbq, there's no smoke flavor. The meat is drowned in sauce that tastes like store bought. The portions are very small and you are paying a premium price for it. The chicken wing meal is a fine thing to buy only reason not 1 star. I would say avoid ordering anything but the wing meal until they either improve the quality or change the pricing. $35 for less than a half rack of baby back ribs is pretty steep. 15 for a brisket sandwich that is white wonder bread and brisket. The brisket was pretty disappointing as it's served in chunks and has no flavor as it's drowned in sauce.

This was very average BBQ paid 40 dollars for half a slab of ribs for 2 people!! Corn bread was dry and flavorless only 3 ribs in each serving!! Food was cold could be better and prices should be lower

The sauce was delicious. I would buy the sauce if I could.
The meat was not good. I got a pound of brisket and got little pieces of tough meat. The other reviewer that complained about his brisket sandwich was spot-on. I did not try any of the other dishes, so maybe those are better. I would not recommend this place to others and do not plan on going again.

Oh my... The food was divine. The collard greens weren't overcooked, they weren't salty or spicey. Rather than back fat they must use a smoked ham hock which gives them a slightly smokey and mildly salty taste.
Creole beans are great! They have a bit of hot link, a nice surprise.
The ribs are unbelievable. The sauce is sweet and tangy with a mild kick, most barbeque sauces are either tangy or sweet. This is really nice.
The sweet potato pie is really good. Creamy, nutmeg, nice crust. The pecan pie isn't a gelatinous "goo" with some nuts on top. It's also not sugary sweet, really nicely done.
It was a trip down memory lane, can't wait to go back.

Sauce was good. Meat was meh. $13 for a sandwich that consisted of regular slices of white bread, brisket and barbecue sauce. Meat was low quality. I'd really like to give them another chance but the prices just are not worth it.

Aggie's BBQ is a family owned resteraunt just off of 76th and Perrinville. The food was heavenly, and the sauce was to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the best night eating tasty collard greens and ribs. If you haven't had true southern cooking, or if you have, and you miss it, this is the way it was meant to be. I can't say enough good. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
