First time experience of this restaurant. I was looking for something different and this place is really good. I had the seafood chowder and it was great! Sometimes these soups are pasty tasting but this one was not! Perfect flavor. I then had the Salmon! Wow! I love this dish! Great combination of Crab to Salmon and a good portion of fish for the price. Good job! Really great server and good atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place for your chowder & fish craving.
Went today for the first time after hearing so many rave about it and I was not disappointed. Ordered the Calamari (not pictured) for an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. For lunch the kids had fish & chips and chicken tenders with French fries and they were gobbled up. I had the stuffed Shrimp and it was very rich in crab flavor, the only thing I would change is the amount of oil, the mashed potatoes were some of the best I've had in a long time and the veggies were super fresh. The Risotto was cooked to perfection and phenomenal!
We enjoyed a midweek visit to Marblehead thanks to a $12 coupon that arrived in our mailbox on the occasion of my wife’s birthday. They feature a terrific loyalty program in addition to some of the freshest seafood offerings in the Valley. I enjoyed my fried clam basket; unlike most restaurants who fry frozen breaded straps, Marblehead makes theirs from scratch. My wife's seafood au gratin was rich & filled with succulent sea servings. Lastly, my corn & seafood chowder was to die for! Our server, Laura, was attentive & was sure to share the restaurant's daily specials & keep our drinks filled. I did take some pictures, but only after we decided to dig in! Sorry, couldn't help ourselves!
Great old school seafood restaurant. I had the seafood chowder and it was excellent! The fish and chips are top notch as well. Difficult to get a table on the weekend - I made a reservation online at 9am and was still seated at a table in the bar.
The outside of the store does not gives a feel that so much goodness behind the walls. The outside does not give a feel this is a this much of a quality restaurant
For the first time I dined on Wednesday October 20th we were amazed with the quality taste freshness and the volume of food within 5 days we visited again.
They also have a great membership program unfortunately we did not know about it until our second trip.
My recent visit is no good. Take a look at the coleslaw this was brought on a plastic cup and some of coleslaw touching the table. My wife’s dish has more salt than one can eat they replace it but should. It have happened.
I feel the quality has gone down
Amazing food! Great atmosphere and our waiter Nathan was impeccable! Would highly recommend the coconut margarita and the funnel cake sundae! Will be definitely coming back!
