Yeah, we like this place.... Have been coming here for a few years, some of the menu items are total misses, trial and error will get you on the right track. Beef tips and Chicken fries are always good, hamburgers are ok, but not from fresh ground, I am guessing frozen patties. Have a good salad bar that is included with meals and prices are reasonable. Kids selections could sure use some improvement though. Charge .99 cents for water, kind of a cheap shot at the customer, but still a great place. Friendly folks, family owned.

The stake and burger were good. The tilapia was just not our thing. (Somebody else might enjoy it.) The fish was under-seasoned. My mom gave me her half. I tossed it over onto my husband's plate. He took a bite and confirmed that the smokie taste was because it was farm raised. Oh well... We'll stick with the meat next time!
I was driving through Durant and saw this place. I like to discover hole-in-the-wall gems. This place had good reviews so I decided to try it. I wasn't disappointed. Steak could have used a bit more flavor, but the salad bar and baked potato condiment bar were awesome. It has an old school family ambiance and service was friendly, fast, and helpful. I would definitely recommend eating here.
I absolutely LOVE the potato soup! I would eat it everyday if I could. I live an hour away and make the drive because I just love it so much. There for a while somebody was adding salt and different spices to it and it was just awful so we stopped going. I'm glad we decided to go back because it's like it used to be again. The owner has always been very nice and the place stays clean. I would definitely recommend eating here.
Absolutely amazing old school food. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Brings back great memories of what food out used to be like. Can not beat the price for amount and quality anywhere except grandma's place. People and owner are a fresh air of politeness.
Great food off the menu with a nice small salad bar. The hot bar does not look that good. The booths could use some repair. Nice and friendly staff. I saw it listed as a buffet, it does have a small hot bar with the salad bar but the cook to order from the menu is way better. Good place to try.
Best steak I've eaten in a long time. Cooked medium and came out perfect. I love the salad bar and the topping bar. I always get the $20 steak because it's the best and if I'm going out to eat steak, I want the best. To go box so I get 3 meals out of this. I love the service too.
