I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is excellent, the interior of the space works (simple & stylish) and the people that work there truly seem to enjoy their jobs.
I always recommend this place to friends who are headed towards Dundee. It's the perfect place to hang out, have a fabulous glass of wine or cocktails (handcrafted!), eat a wood fired pizza, yummy salad or tasty sandwich. You can also sit out in the sun on the back patio if the sun decides to bless us that particular day. It is a bit small in the patio area but worth waiting to sit in. There is also a bocci ball court that keeps the kids busy for a bit. Nnnniiiccceeee!

I'm biased because I particularly like the sandwich combinations. Like country ham with Swiss, butter on nutty, seedy GF bread or chewy baguettes or beef with strong cheese and carmelized onions. And the soups are delicious. Unusual mixes. My favorite is the kale and white bean. Their pizza oven toasts all the sandwiches and of course pizza combos. Plenty of choice in wine or beer. A few giant cookies and often gorgeous fruit bars. Casual ambiance. The wait can be long when a group comes in and each person orders one by one,but off busy times are lovely. Loads of different food gifts and clever fun gifts for adults or kids. Family friendly.
It’s been a place on my list for a long time. Their weekend special got me in finally! It’s a fun place and it has way more seating than you would think. Huge outdoor patio with lots of covered seating. We had to get their dark chocolate hazelnut cookies to go, and they are to die for. Also grabbed a croissant for the road! Great drinks and worth going!
Cute place with fireplace and heat for the raining days. Outside undercover eating area. Friendly people and awesome service. Beer on tap. Good selection of wines. Decent price. Our favorite stop in place for coffee.
Tasty food with local flavor. Small, but well designed menu cooked well. Ample seating and parking available. Outdoor space looked pleasant too, even has a fire pit. Locally made products are available for purchase.
For breakfast try the Bloody Mary and egg sandwich.
For happy hour try the margarita pizza and Cesar salad.
For lunch or dinner try the fried chicken sandwich.
Menu items for those looking for light and farm fresh bites and for those up for the challenge of eating a hearty locally sourced sandwich with all the meats.
Great place to buy gifts as well
The Red Hills Market in Dundee is the perfect starting point for an Oregon wine tasting tour. The one thing you need to do is allow yourself a little bit a time as this special lunch experience is very popular, plus they take the time to create excellent dishes. As you work your way through the line to the counter for your order you will be overwhelmed with the amount of sights and smells from the surrounding shelves. I would strongly recommend the tuna melt which sounds pretty pedestrian but it has great flavor and a very hearty lunch that quite honestly you can split.
If you are in the area and hungry, this is the place! Fresh, local and healthy food! They also have a great wine and beer selection, plus to go / snacks for your wine tasting trips! Grab an emergency sandwich in case you drink too much wine and need to sober up quicker! We try to hit this spot every time we are in town!
My favorite breakfast item is the avocado 🥑 toast!
