TLDR: Retro dessert stand for your after dinner treat! Come for the classic Bmore snowballs w/ marshmallow fluff and milkshakes!
Vibe: 5/5. Located right off German Hill Rd. in Dundalk, this snowball stand is beautifully lit at night with bright neon so you can't miss it. Since it's only a stand, there is no inside dining, however there are a few metal benches adjacent to the building where you can sit and enjoy your order. The menu is located on the side of the building next to the window at which you order.
Service: 5/5. Staff is always quick to take orders and is always very pleasant. The stand can get pretty busy during peak summer hours, but luckily the staff at Icy are efficient at turning orders quickly. I have waited in lines 6-7 parties deep and have only waited 5-10 minutes to get my order.
Food: 5/5. This is my go to stand for a classic Baltimore snowball. They do a good job crushing the ice to a fluffy consistency as well as evenly distributing the flavor syrups. Also, when administering the mandatory marshmallow fluff, they put half in the center and the rest on top for perfect mallow distribution from start to finish. On my last visit we opted to try the new Banana Cream Mega Shakes they have been advertising and we were not disappointed! Reminiscint of the IG famous Black Tap Milkshakes in NYC, these are a scaled down version but equally as tasty!

Great icy treats place! Sizes are big! Even the kiddie size is the size of a medium anywhere else - they have shaved ice, soft serve ice cream and a variety of icy treats. They have some outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Great place to stop on a hot day!

Oh. My. God. The apple cider donut ice cream sandwich!!! Make sure to get extra caramel because it is awesome. A perfect combination of ingredients. We have been talking about this dessert for weeks. Definitely worth the drive to Dundalk.

This is about the Essex location that doesn’t seem to have a page. They Wouldn’t accept a $50 bill. What kind of cash business doesn’t have change for a $50 bill. Won’t be returning.

Literally just left from their Very Rude girls asked what the difference between a small and a large soft serve ice cream... Got a large for $4.24 and in a cup don't think it would of filled a cone she said it was 5 oz. I can definitely tell you it might of been 2. The cup wasn't even 1/2 full... Never Again will I go their.... I Will Definitely Stick to Stouten's Snowball Stop!

I really love this snowball place. I'm sure every summer i spend hundreds of dollars but they recently made some changes to the snowballs that I didn't like, particularly the old fashion kind which definitely socks because it was my favorite flavor. The way they do it now, doesn't taste the same

Best snowball stand in all the land. The new pup cups are adorable and my dogs loved them as much as I enjoyed my chocolate snowball with marshmallow.
