The Black Woods was a wonderful surprise. At first we thought the price would be high. But it was great value for what you get. We loved the waitress. She gave us excellent suggestions on our choice of food. The food was very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I got a couple of gift cards from work..and i went to the duluth and Procter black woods and iam telling ya..thats the place to eat at. I highly recommend stopping at one of them and treating your self.

Highly recommend the fish fry! Whitefish out of Superior, blueberry basil coleslaw was delicious.

Great place hooked onto a hotel and a wedding venue. Just wish the actual bar area wasn’t so “upscale” Personal opinion- looking for pull tabs. None here. But great friendly fun bartenders! Makes for a great night. Average to lower cost on drink’s! Not here for a wedding but seems like a great place to have a good reception!! Good food for a decent price!

I was there for a family birthday party. We had around 10 people. The waitress had a new guy working with her. They both were very patient with our somewhat goofy group that was out just having fun. Food was excellent and great atmosphere. 👍

Had a fantastic meal, our waiter was Zach and I asked him who cooked my ribeye steak to perfection, it was Dan. Thanks guys for a great dining experience!

Good food and good service. I highly recommend the stuffed tots - they were so good!! The sign on the door said they were open until 11:00pm on Saturday night but they were moving bar stools and making it look like they were getting ready to close long before 11:00pm. I wish we didn't feel like we were being pushed out.

Great food! We ordered food to go this evening as we are visiting from out of town. We have a 1 year old so we didn't feel comfortable eating out in the restaurant so we decided to do take out. The ordering process was supper easy and we were able to ask for substitutions and add notes to our order. Blackwoods honored all of our requests and got it all correct. This was especially important as my mother in laws meal needed to be nightshade free and we ordered it so it would be and it came to us perfectly. I had the meatloaf and it was wonderful! The cornbread is A++++ YOU HAVE TO GET IT! Keep up the good work and making wonderful meals
