Great Italian hoagie even without the tomatoes and onions. Very accommodating, perfect roll. Will definitely stop in again!

If you are in Downingtown and you need a good cheesesteak, Sam is your cheesesteak man and possibly a pizza with ham. This was a very good pizza shop cheesesteak. Everything could have been a little better. Everything could have been a little worse. I think there were some grandkids running around. Very good overall experience.

Sam makes the best cheesesteaks in Chester county. Perfect bread, well seasoned steak and all the add ons you’d expect. Sam has been taking care of us in Downingtown for decades. Love it!!

First time at Sam's but not the last. I grew up in Philly with cheesesteaks as my main meal but the pizza steak I ate at Sam's was the best I ever had. Not only a great sandwich but Sam and Lisa were so hospitable and down to earth. Will return!

Stopped after we were down in the area for a soccer game and wow absolutely amazing cheesesteaks definitely a highly recommended place and from now on we will be stopping for a cheesesteak on our way through the area

Best cheesesteaks around. Also love the mozzarella sticks and their pepperoni pizza can’t be beat. Great food all around- you won’t be disappointed.

Finally had the opportunity to sample Sam’s menu. I have an affinity for pepperoni pizza steaks. Very rarely does the venue I choose get it right. Hands down, the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Fresh roll, equal amounts of steak to pepperoni, perfect ratio! 5 stars!!! Will be a repeat customer and give credit where it is due. Already told many how good the experience was. Ordered a Sam's special all pizza for take out. It was outstanding, great mix of peppers of all kinds and a couple of meats. The toppings were great and we really enjoyed it. The dough is a bit thin and not very thick, but the toppings more than made up for it. Recommended.
