I just dined here for the first time for my work holiday party and I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in..! Food was outstanding..!! Staff was friendly and attentive. Beautiful atmosphere. Chef and owner Sergio came out to greet us. The place was packed but that did not interfere with our service. I can’t wait to dine there again..!

The service was great. Waiters were highly engaging and very consistent. Shining star of this establishment is the food. I ordered the gnocchi dish, and ate everything, except the plate. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Love this place! Excellent food, great wines, super atmosphere. Glad to see this gem reopened. It's just a bit difficult to find an open table at short notice :)

Piccola truly shines in Dobbs. They've made a remarkable return, and the presence of Chef Sergio is fantastic. The new venue is spacious, inviting, and cozy. The cuisine is exceptional, prepared with great care and as delectable as ever.
I highly recommend trying the branzino; it's simply perfection!

Hooray. They are back and better than ever. Having Sergio back is terrific. The new space is large, airy and comfortable. The service (both the familiar faces from before the move and the new ones) are totally delightful as well as completely professional and attentive. The food is outstanding, carefully prepared and delicious as ever. Cannot wait to go again for dinner in a couple of weeks. Welcome back to the entire Piccola family.

A party of 5, we ordered 6 main dishes because we couldn’t decide
The food was delicious, would and WILL dine here again.
The only thing I wouldn’t do again is have the waitress, she was horrible inattentive, couldn’t be bothered to ask us if we wanted drinks or to check in on us, or let us know there was a delay with our food. She made it clear to us that we were inconvenience to her. The busy boys were fabulous they tried picking up her slack.
She was unwelcoming, she was the worse part of the meal. Next time we’ll sit at the bar where we will get the service one expects when dining out
The new location and decor and design is warm and inviting
Something you should not miss out on is the pork chop Milanese

Pete the server went out of his way to make this visitor to his city feel welcome. He brought over Jackie who told me about places to go. It is people like these that make one come back. The food was awesome as well

First time, dining in on their first busy Friday after reopening earlier in the week. Lovely overall; they are a model trattoria; not too fancy but better than an eatery. The new space suits well with large open dining room with high ceilings. We sat not far from doors which are intended to be open during mild weather. The guests at the table behind us used them several times as quick access to outside for a smoke. The doors do not fully close without a firm tug, so that cold and smoky air came in and disturbed nearby diners. I got up to close the door each time the table went for a smoke. Piccolo staff, could you please ensure that the doors remain closed during serving hours as your sign now requests.
Classic menu featuring homemade pasta dishes, salads, and first rate secondi. My husband and I chose the roasted Branzino ( European Sea Bass). Served as a whole fish but easy to debone. Very nicely done and not too large a portion with mixed sautéed vegetables and a modest portion of mashed potatoes.
A special note on the pace of the meal and serving hours. Being a busy day, we phoned in advance to reserve a table. We prefer a later dining time, around 9:00 pm. But restaurants in the area are often ‘wrapping up’ service at this time so we hear lines such as — ‘kitchen is closing in 5 minutes’, or ‘ we’re out of this or that’ or ‘don’t worry we won’t kick you out. There was none of that here - we were served at a leisurely pace with wine, bread (on request) and starters after a time which allowed us to enjoy the wine rather than rushing through so that the restaurant staff can close up. Bravo! Bravo! We left after enjoying desserts ( pistachio gelato and a fruit dish with mozzarella) and espresso drinks. On our way out in the bar, we were treated to a voice student singing. Highly recommended!

Piccola is back in a brand new space that is beautifully decorated and has great ambience. The service was good and the menu familiar. Despite the fact that they had just reopened everything came out quick, hot and as expected.
The value here leaves a bit to be desired as even for the area it seems steep.
