A bunch of my wife's family has worked here over the years when they were growing up. It's almost like walking into Cheers. So many memories and familiar faces.
This is our go to restaurant in the area. Just a wonderful locally owned family place. The staff is always friendly, service and food is always good. They always have a good variety of draft beer on hand, including craft beer.
All they do is win. I've personally had the Philly steak sandwich, the tacos tacos, and the ribs... All were amazing and also reasonably priced. I'm torn as to whether they have the first or second best ribs in the area, which is a good dilemma to have. You can strip the meat easily with just a fork; they're that succulent. Definitely worth a drive from Lansing.

Best bang for the buck. There 2 for $6 lunch menu makes it easy to choose Draft House over junky fast food chains. Super good food, friendly attentive service and that old world pub atmosphere make Draft House a win. Great burgers and sandwiches, and dollar tacos on Tuesdays . This restaurant is a great place for a date night, or to take out of town guests out to eat.

Great Fish and the Blue Cheese dressing is the best I ever had!!
If you're on your way up north stop in for some very good food! The French dip is my personal favorite but you can't go wrong when you order here. Smoke free atmosphere and the wait staff are very friendly. Definitely worth a stop!
Draft house was great. I had the olive burger, which came with the olive sauce on the side, which is great for the people that like a little less. Not me, I dumped the whole thing right on top. The beer battered fries are amazing. They had buttered noodles on the kids menu that's great for our picky 7 year old. My wife ordered the chicken enchilada that was packed full of delicious pulled chicken thigh.
We will definitely be back.
Went here for dinner and everything was delicious!! Really tasty pickle fries and best queso I've had in awhile at a restaurant! Also tried their famous Olive Burger and was not disappointed! The burger itself had so much flavor and their olive dressing was spot on and the fries are probably my favorite out of anywhere else!! All in all, really good!! Oh and super friendly staff!!
Went here with a friend for taco Tuesday. We each had 2 tacos: you can choose from beef, chicken or bean. They come with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and are a good size. 2 was enough for each of us as a meal. I also had iced tea and my friend had water. The total bill was $17! Highly recommend! My only criticism is the dark, old nature of the inside space, but I guess that is what you get with a classic restaurant. 🤷♀️
Food is always very good. Recommend nachos and burgers. Various selection of craft and domestic beers available. Waitstaff is friendly and personable. Open but cozy environment. Does tend to be a bit noisy, but not an issue. Lots of big screen TV's to watch while dining or at the bar.

This is a decent restaurant/ bar. There is lots of seating. It's clean, lighting is dim but appropriate for the venue.
The peppy waitress was attentive and pleasant, cheked on us the right amount of times.
The menu offered the typical food you will find at restaurant/bar: some Mexican, burgers, salads, apps, dinners.
Hubby got the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings. He thought that burger was good and the onion rings were crisp and delicious.
I got the nachos Supreme. They were comparable to nachos at most other places, although their beef also had chorizo in it. That made it slightly better than other places.
Brother in law got the French dip sandwich and thought it was rather bland, as well the au jus. Sister also had the nachos, she proclaimed then the second best nachos in the Lansing area.
Prices were moderate, hubby thought the$3.99 for his domestic draft beer was steep. It was in a mug with a handle instead of the usual pilsner but difference in ounces wasn't worth the higher price for the mug of beer.
This place is simply wonderful. Great food, great setting, nice people, and fair prices. They even have a menu item where you can buy the kitchen staff a beer! It's a gratuity but still nice to have
Great Tavern on Old 27 for the locals and passersby’s. It was a hot day and the Bells Two hearted hit just right. Burger, Sandwich, salad menu with a few dinner options like the popular fajitas. It was self seating and we didn’t have to wait too long for service. Buy a round of beers for the kitchen for $6. They get their treat after their shift. Very reasonably priced.
Came at the perfect time between 6- 7 pm on a Thursday. Seated quickly, drinks ordered and delivered within 7 minutes. The "mermaid" was an awesome cocktail! Appetizers were served hot, salad was fresh and entres of the grilled salmon and bacon burger were also great!

It's such a great place!! Atmosphere reminded us of the many great restaurants we've been at in the Upper Peninsula. Food was delicious, definitely will be back!!
