Friendly. On-premise brewed beer, nice food choices, games and entertainment and a coffee bar. We tried a few of their homemade brews including an NA variety. They all tasted quite nice. You can't beat fresh! The pizza was also nicely done. The service was a little spotty, but that is happening everywhere with service employee shortages. On the plus side, even the newbie servers were very friendly. The night we were there they had live (free) entertainment, but they always have a variety of games available. The location on Brush is nice too. In the new (old) Brush Park neighborhood there is a real walk-up neighborhood gathering spot charm going on here. I think my favorite thing was the homemade beer! I loved it!

Great first experience. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender. Andre does a great job with hospitality and very genuine. Diversity of beer is nice. A few unique selections.

Saucy IS the local pizza place in Brush Park. Pizza galore, wide beer style and selections sandwiches, salads, shuffleboard, trivia games, live music, great atmosphere in this local joint. Family friendly, great before or after a game for a snack or a drink. Support Detroit employers #pizzabrushpark #brushpark #detroitsportscenter

I've been ordering take out from Saucy all pandemic, but just went in for the first time. There's a great atmosphere (although the outdoor patio leaves a little to be desired. It's basically a concrete pad with tables). The vegan pizzas are amazing with really good vegan cheese and spicy vegan sausage. The dairy cheese is tasty too. I liked all the beers I tried, especially the lagers.

if you want to try a new micro brewery in detroit, you have to go there. We loved the place. The beers are excellent. André, the bartender knows his beers very well and made us try a lot of samples and there is not one that I did not like. Without knowing that he told us about his journey, a native of Mississippi. it was very interesting. The food was also excellent. the pizzas are really good. I last tried a hazelnut beer, the numb nuts, great stout beer. This place is a must in detroit.

Huge list of beers of all styles (light, hoppy, IPA, ambers, darks, fruity, specialty). I saw a few people order what looked to be flights which sounds like a great idea. We ordered the pretzels, not nachos, and small pizzas. The menu states that the cheese spread for the pretzels contains anchovies which to my surprise did not taste fishy at all. The nachos were pulled chicken with just a bit of spice. We did not get to try any of the specialty pizzas yet but will have to add that to the list!

Have come here a few times now and it seems like a hidden gem in terms of food/beer near the stadium district. Within walking distance to each of the stadiums and sometimes will have a food deal if you're going to a game (buy 1get 1 free pizza). Prices are reasonable and the beer list has a great range of choices. The food has only been spectacular on my visits and can say the same for the beer. I'd say the wings are probably the one "have to try" on the menu, but they do offer a range of vegan and veggies options as well.
