Chef D! Both pizzas were unique but familiar to what you would be looking for. Pepperoni pizza sauce was great and chunks of pepperoni under the cheese takes it over the top. The margarita pizza was so flavorful. Fresh basil, and tomatoes stood out and made the pizza hard to stop eating.
All else aside this is a great take out pizza. Like take out pizza's it's a heavy meal but the crust is crispy, not buttery and the toppings are generous. The red sauce is extremely good.
Chef D does everything by hand, I saw him make a garlic butter sauce for the crust and put it on as he made one of my pies. We tried a peperoni sausage and a cheese and both agreed the meat pizza was the better of the two.
Chef D is the guy you'll see making the pies, he's very animated and friendly. He also says that he loves to have kids so bring them in if you have them.
Separately from the food review, I think what he's doing for the community is a beautiful thing. If you haven't read up on it you should it's quite inspiring but the short of it is he helps feed and clothes the homeless multiple times a week.
My family and my mother in law showed up early, before they were open. They welcomed us in and gave us great service. We had taco pizza, 6 thumbs up from this family. The food was good the employees are friendly. We will be back to try some of their sandwiches. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Side note: I really enjoyed reading all the positive quotes on the walls.
The pizza had as good a thin crust as I've ever had. We got the supreme and everything on it was great.
Chef D and his staff were so gracious and nice, most of all for me, just fun to chat with.
Do yourself a favor, plan to hang out for a bit , have some great pizza with some great folks.
They have really good Taco Pizza. It's done differently than the conventional pizza places. We LOVE the sauce! It tastes fresh and whatever their special recipe is, it's great. Also really admirable what they do for those in need every Monday night. The power of local business.
The pizza here is fantastic. The marinara sauce is so good that I would eat it with a spoon. The decor is not fancy, but it is welcoming. I will be back.
