Kathmandu Restaurant

I was really hoping that Kathmandu had not changed their Southside restaurant very much. It's closest to our house and we were looking forward to going again. The layout is completely different. I like the idea of their pool tables, but they need to rearrange or get rid of a table. There's not enough seating room for people at the tables. The chairs behind you make it impossible. On the night we went our waitress was very new, she said it was her second day. I'm not sure if she was even familiar with Nepali food. She had to keep looking at the menu to write down what we were ordering. And turns out I got the wrong kind of bread, and our meals were served a several minutes apart. Which isn't a big deal, but it was just two of us. It shouldn't have been that hard to bring our meals at the same time. What I ordered was not all what I had expected. I will not be ordering it again. It looks more like paneer fajitas, then tandoor paneer Tikka. My husband ordered the lamb Biryani, which he said was good, but we believe the spice levels were switched his was a medium and mine was a mild but it should have been the opposite. I think we'll give it another shot, possibly take out or appetizers,b and a game of pool. I just wish they had kept more elements of the original restaurant on the Southside. Windsor heights is too far, and too many speed traps.
