Stopped in Friday night and I'm so glad We did! We sat at the bar on the outdoor rooftop patio and the atmosphere was perfect! It was busy, good music playing to set the tone, killer views of The city, friendly patrons mingling with eachother, just all around a good vibe. We each had a couple drinks and tried the charcuterie combination board. It was absolutely delightful and ended up being the perfect amount of food for two as a solid meal, so we didn't order anything else. The service was top notch as well. All around, I give this place two thumbs way up! Des Moines has been needing a place like this, that took me back to the time I spent living in San Diego a few years ago. You've got a regular in me!
Great patio bar above the AC Hotel. We enjoyed cocktails here on several evenings and brunch on Sunday morning ( try the bloody Mary flight) while in DSM for a wedding. The service, food, and atmosphere were all impeccable. Highly recommend.

I lived in Des Moines for about 9 months and came here 3 or 4 times even though I had a goal of trying a new restaurant every time I went out. That's how you know it was good. You've got a beautiful rooftop view of East Village, impeccable service, great cocktails, and the apps are delicious!!! Definitely everyone's favorite place for a pre-game or a chill night of drinks and chatter.
Republic is our place to go to get beverages and charcuterie boards. I do want to say that their boards are amazing and smoked old fashioned compliments it.
You can definitely skip dinner and get few various options if that's what you chose. There's no true outdoor seating, but one side is open to the outside which makes it really nice in the summer.
Staff has always been great, fast and friendly. Never have we had an issue there.
I am finding myself here at least once a week for dinner. Consistently delicious food, great staff, 👍 I plan on coming back many more times. Love the new pasta dishes! 🍝

We went for drinks! I had the cucumber mule and the Des Moines Skyline cocktail both were delicious and I would order again! Environment was exactly what we were going for just to chit chat and have some drinks on a rooftop! Perfect place to get some cute chic pics!
