Outback Steakhouse

I had a wonderful experience tonight eating in at Outback in Deptford. We were seated promptly and within a minute we already were getting greeted by Jessica (our server). She was so sweet, diligent, and attentive to detail! When I say she was on top of refills and got everything correct, I’m not lying! I changed up my order a little bit from the standard Queensland pasta and she nailed that too! I almost always have a good experience eating in here, but I had to do a review tonight because Jessica truly was a model example of what anyone could want in a server. Keep this girl and give her a raise ;) Great job tonight Outback! Oh, food was delicious too!!

The waiter we had was fantastic his name was Michael and he was very good with my grandchildren they were one and a half and four. He brought them snacks before their food came and also to get them extra fruit with their meals. He brought our appetizer quickly and our drinks and we didn't have to wait long for our food. He kept making sure we had enough and we had everything that we wanted.

I ordered my steak cooked medium and it came out over cooked. The server was apologetic and notified the manager. Apparently there were issues in the kitchen because another customer next to us had the same problem. The manager spoke with them but never came to our table to address the issue. Our server was great, checking on us throughout our meal. She is the one who had the steak taken off the bill. She offered to get me another steak but I didn’t want to wait another 35 minutes for it while my family ate and then would have to wait for me to finish. This was a disappointing experience and it will probably be some time before we visit this location again.

Experience was great! Everything we ordered came out at perfect temp. The Salmon was cooked perfectly, and the staff were very pleasant. Our waitress SAM was amazing!!! She's Friendly, personable, pleasant, & genuine. She engaged with us through out the visit, even with the kids. My daughter told her that she was her "favorite waitress that she liked the most". Sam is a great asset to the restaurant.

This is the first and last time I will be going to this outback. We ordered to go and I got the blooming onion burger. Almost looks like they accidentally left scraps in the fryer when the put the fries in my to go container. Would have given them one start but was impressed by the size of the side salad.
