Subway

Nathan and Jesse are always so nice! They great you as soon as you come in, even if they're helping someone, and they are really kind! I just wish Jesse had more support--you can tell she does a lot and other than Nathan, no one else really helps her and she often has to run the show by herself. I saw one of her coworkers take off early to catch a bus and maybe she won't say it, but I could tell Jesse was irked. She deserves a raise or a promotion--she can clearly do the job but is probably not getting paid well enough. You'd do well to do so, otherwise you'll lose out on an awesome employee. I rather drive to this Subway because the one by me provides such awful service.

Malique was my sandwich artist today, and he was awesome. He was energetic professional and exact with the ingredients and sauces. He made me a perfect sandwich that looked like it came from straight off the menu above him. I'll have to come back soon for a good conversation and a great meal. Would strongly recommend this location and this sandwich artist.

I am so used to such horrible customer service these days that my visit to Subway today was like waking up from a bad dream. I didn’t get the name of the associate who helped us, however, her service was personable and detail oriented. Not to mention her ability to strike up a simple conversation. This Subway sets the gold standard! Our sandwiches were perfect!

Shout out to Joyce. I've been to this Subway twice and a number of other Subways in-between. Whereas I can usually expect a less than personable employee who produces a somewhat sloppy sandwich, Joyce is friendly, efficient, and very good at her job. She is detailed and engages throughout the process to make sure she's building the sandwich according to my expectations. Until I ordered a Subway sandwich from Joyce, I never fully understood why it feels awkward to interact in most made-to-order restaurants. The reason is that most employees apparently don't care to interact and don't want to be there. It's understandable! But it doesn't make for a great experience. Even in an era of social distancing and wearing masks, Joyce reminds me of how comfortable it can feel to look up into peoples' faces and be present for an experience.
