Grabbed brunch here with a friend and found the experience a little lacking.
The tables are spaced too closely together, so the table next to us kept jostling our coats and purses every time they moved. We had to scoot our chairs out of the way every time one of them needed to go to the bathroom or step outside to take a call. We could also hear every word of their conversation. The hard surfaces all around also meant the acoustics were uncomfortably loud - we both felt like we had to shout at each other to be heard.
The food itself was good, maybe a 7 out of 10 - standard brunch fare. I will say, the price-to-portion ratio was solid, especially for Denver! I would eat there again if invited.
The service was attentive, almost overly so. With how frequently our server checked in, and how quickly the food came out, we felt very rushed. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes, which isn't what either of us wanted. After we finished eating, our waiter stopped refilling our water pitcher and kept asking if there was anything else we needed. It is clear they take turnover seriously.
So, this is a great place to go if you want to eat quickly and get on with your day. It is NOT the place for a relaxing catch-up conversation with an old friend.

Oh yeah this place rocks. The breakfast burrito was delicious and about the size of 72 Tide Pods or a large adult domesticated Guinea pig! Tons of flavor and staff were great. Short wait but well worth it!

Party of 5, all adults. Cons: 1) Spiciness not listed clearly on menu? One person in our party wasn't aware what she ordered would be very spicy, the couldn't-eat- her -food kind of spicy. 2) We waited 45 minutes past our reservation time. Place was so busy!
Pros: Food was A+. Drinks while we waited for seats were great. (Bloody mary, yum!) Server was GREAT and on the spot with service and personality. When your friend accidentally gets food that is too spicy for her - spicy fans can all share her plate while she eats cheese grits. She loved the grits.

Allow me to share a solemn anecdote, if I may. I am full of sorrow for the simple fact that I do not live in Denver. For if I lived in Denver, I would surely dine in this exquisite establishment every single day. First, the atmosphere was welcoming, we were greeted immediately and sat. The service was quick and friendly, warm and welcoming. The coffee was delicious. I was fortunate enough to have the biscuits and gravy, my wife got the smothered burrito. The heavens opened and the angels sang sweetly in my ear as I savored every bite of the biscuits and gravy. Perfect consistency, perfect amount of sausage, perfect biscuits, perfectly cooked eggs. The burrito was the size of a medium-sized Chihuahua. All the flavors combined composed a beautiful orchestral crescendo on my palette. Chorizo, potatoes, and incredible sauce. So again, it's a sad day for me knowing that I'll have to wait until the next time I will be graced enough to return to Four Friends Kitchen.

Great place to visit. Small diner that is busy. The food is impressive. The omelette was not greasy like most places. It had good flavor and the goat cheese rounded out all the flavors. The sauce on top of the omelette had good flavor and topped it off. The potato’s were not greasy as well and had great flavor. Homemade biscuit with homemade strawberry jam. I was very impressed with the presentation. They are obviously one of the few that are passionate about the food. Worth a visit.

This place is so cute! We got there and it was super busy, but we were seated quickly and service was great. Our food came out quick and hot! Both dishes we got were delicious. We also ordered a hot chocolate and it was tasty!

Great brunch place in Denver. We sat on the rooftop and it was a pretty sunny day.
I thought their smoked brisket skillet with eggs and potatoes was really good. Their potatoes are lot and it might be better if they used tater tots for that specific dish

Wow! I came here for my birthday and the food was fantastic!! Prices are fair. Make sure to come earlier in the morning here. I highly recommend.

Four Friends would be successful even if it weren't one of the only good brunch places in Central Park. The vibe is very clean and bustling and the southern tinged food is generally bright, well prepared and reasonably sized and priced. Their Mexican stuff is great too.
