This was our first time in The Hound and I wish we would’ve visited sooner. We live right next door don’t know why it took us so long. I had the fish and chips (French fries) with coleslaw. Very good I was impressed by the crunchiness of the batter on the fish. A+ we also ordered the Reuben Rolls that came with a southwestern style dipping along with horseradish infused sour cream. These were very good as well. A+ My partner got the cheesesteak with a side of Colorado pork green chili. He liked his meal and this is coming from a 90% vegan! We splurged today clearly lol The bartender was awesome - didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly and welcoming. I love the atmosphere reminds me of an old style dark pub on the inside.
The only sad thing about all of this is we will be moving to North Carolina at the end of this month and we won’t be able to go to this wonderful restaurant any longer.
Everything was good and anytime we visit Denver in the future we will be sure to return here. 100% A+
I'm and pretzel and cheese person, and I can say this is the best place to get 'em! The bread was simply delectable and the cheese was so flavorful to compliment!! I would come back just for this appetizer. Their signature Hound burger was also great!
We love this local bar! They have shuffle board, quite a few games in the back, pool, and a jukebox. It’s cozy, warm, and usually not too busy!
The food is good- We’re big fans of the pretzels, burgers, and veggie wrap.
Comfortable, dark, cozy bar with a classic low ceiling and beautiful wooden decor. Amazing menu with great burgers and delicious chicken. Try the Reuben Rolls! Highly recommend this place for a date night or happy hour. Our bartender Will was awesome!
Our bartender was amazing. The only one serving at the time and she was hustling! Food was good. They could use a better Bloody Mary mix, but everything else was delish.
Good food, love the atmosphere. Service could have been better if they had more than 1 person running everything, including the bar.
I tell ya these bartenders and the kitchen staff are some real gems! From the kitchen manager to the GM! Will and the little hispanic kitchen person are so dang great! The burgers are phenomenal and I had a bartender named Grace or Gracie and she was so nice and bubbly! Highly recommend coming here!
My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch. We had the nachos and the serving was big! Can't beat some food nachos at $12 plus tip 😁 we will be stopping by again to try more since I work close by 😉
We've been there twice. They are welcoming and friendly. I was very excited to find a bar with standing shuffleboard. I had the fish and chips Friday special. It was great. They didn't have a cider so that was my only disappointment.
Friendly place, love the atmosphere, and the food and drinks were made perfect. I would recommend this place to stop by and have some drinks and hang out for a bit.
