It’s a nice coffee shop in Capitol Hill right by a bus stop. Just decided to get a good pastry here. It was great. The atmosphere was nice, convenient location, and great pastries! The chocolate croissant I got was nice and warm. Would come back to this coffee shop in Capital Hill. But sheesh, they are expensive.
Beautiful cafe very welcoming to remote workers with fast wifi and even a laser printer! They use the highest quality milk from glass jugs and exquisite espresso ☕️ I’ll be back!
Seasonal drinks (orange mocha when we were there) are amazing. Seating was plentiful and we really liked the chill vibe - lots of people getting work done on a Monday morning when we were there. Definitely a great neighborhood find!
Novo Coffee is a must-try for any coffee lover in Denver. Their seasonal syrupss are homemade and exceptional in their lattes. I recently tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte with a homemade pumpkin spice syrup, and it was the best I've ever had. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the pumpkin spice syrup was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too spicy. I also love that Novo Coffee sources their coffee beans from sustainable farms. If you're looking for a delicious and ethical cup of coffee, Novo Coffee is the place to go.
Cozy, WiFi good (14mbps down, 11 up), lots of seating (30 persons), great americano and pastries, had a breakfast burrito. Printer available.
A lavender latte is just what this sleep-deprived-coffee-addict needed this morning. After waking up at 4 AM for a flight and traveling all morning, all I could think about was dropping my bags off at my hotel and jetting to a local coffee joint.
One of the staffers at the hotel I'm staying at recommended I check out Novo, "They are located just a few steps away from 16th street mall and can sling a mean cup of coffee!". I took him up on his advice, and I am glad I did!
The Atmosphere...
I sipped on my lavender latte on their front patio while enjoying the lovely springtime weather that Denver is currently experiencing (mid 60's/low 70's) and it was pure bliss. What I like most about this place (aside from the coffee) is that you can have two distinctly different experiences here. Meaning: on the patio, you get this up-and-coming urban/big city vibe, and the inside of the shop has this modern-yet-very-"hipster" vibe. As someone who gravitates towards coffee-shops for the atmosphere, this one is a winner for me!
The Coffee...
Lavender lattes are one of my favorite renditions on espresso (when done right). I've had lavender lattes that I hate and lavender lattes that I LOVE. This one falls on the "love" side of the spectrum for me. The syrup REALLY tastes like lavender and not a fake sugary concoction of artificial flavors trying to be lavender. The coffee is smooth and fresh. And the milk is steamed to perfection.
Latte Art...
You've got to give bonus points to those baristas who kill it on latte art and make your coffee so pretty that it's worth an IG post. Novo definitely has this down...the chica behind the counter crafted the "Mona Lisa" of latte art in my drink!
Good flavorful coffee, small batch brewed. The barista was friendly and helpful and seem to be happy even when I came in very close to closing time. She never gave the hint that I needed to hurry and leave. Very sparse but modern decor, nice big windows facing toward Sixth Avenue to traffic or people watching. Great parking for the area, shares a lot to the east with the other stores on the block. There is WiFi for paying customers as well.
Really vibey spot with great coffee/espresso drinks! Not much else around so great gem in the neighborhood
Such a great coffee shop! The coffee is wonderful, the baristas are friendly, and the vibe is super comfortable. Walking in, I felt like I might not know enough about coffee to be there, but when I walked out, I felt like I had just found the perfect neighborhood coffee shop.
Nice service. Great place to stop by before kicking off the day.
