Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery

First time there today to meet my uncles for lunch. Man the food was very delicious. Cool little spot on the corner of east Colfax. Only negative thing would be parking as it is next to a residential area. Parking can be challenging depending on the the time and day. But once you get in, the food and atmosphere make up for it. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and next to mine it was the most delicious dish I had. My uncle had the short ribs and that was pull-a-part perfection. My other uncle had the chicken and as you can see looked as delicious as it was served. Thank you guys for your passion and amazing food. Keep up the great work you out did yourself!!!! If you are looking you definitely need to visit this place and simple the yummy goodness that they are dishing out!! Definitely returning to try all items on this menu!!!!!

I went there to meet a date and talk. The background music was fairly loud so we went outside and that was pleasant. My chop hamburger was just excellent although for $12 it seems like they could have put a few tater tots or fries with it. It looked pretty lonely sitting there in the basket and I was still hungry when I finished. I do recommend it for the good food; not so much for the ambiance.

My fiancé and I flew in from Tampa, FL to Denver for vacation and needed to grab lunch because we were starving! I went on Instagram and saw this place and thought it looked interesting so we gave it a shot. Let me tell you we were not disappointed with this find and are planning to make a second visit on our last day in Denver because it was that good. The service was phenomenal, not only was he kind and helpful with the menu but he also gave us recommendations of things to do in the area. The food was so delicious too! The combination of flavors in my chicken bacon ranch sandwich was heavenly, I also added tots and those were fresh and crispy as well. My fiancé got the southwest salad and it looked as good as it tasted. Definitely worth trying this place out if you’re in the area.

Was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! I had a Mediterranean Grilled Chicken and my boyfriend had the Crispy Fried Chicken. We also got the tots to share and a couple drinks. My dish was big for me so I had it for leftovers the next day and it was just as good as the first time! Will definitely come back here and try some other dishes!!

The food wasn't just fire, it was next level fire...it was a freaking Bonfire for my taste buds! I mean, they took a regular French Dip but somehow managed to make it literally one of the best I've ever had in my 51 years of living and I've eaten countless French dips! I do wish they had the regular restaurant setting with servers and menus at the table. Menu boards give me anxiety because I feel like I need to hurry and make a decision before I'm ready. Especially when people are behind me. For the price, the atmosphere could use some ambiance... The decor was cold industrial and the seating was uncomfortable. But it was clean. The "servers" were friendly and attentive. However, they don't really do much for the tip that they earn. For these two reasons, I downgraded the atmosphere. I'm not going to downgrade the servers because that's not cool. It's not their fault that the restaurant was set up to run this way. This message is mostly for the owners. I feel that your restaurant has great potential but is lacking in making the customer feel welcome. Better seating, a warmer decor and real servers are highly suggested.

Chop Shop was a great choice for my hungry family. Everyone found something they liked. The food was flavorful and fresh. The fries were hand-cut, so already 10x better than any others. I ordered a side of spicy aioli to dip them in which took them to the next level. The burger was delicious and our food came out quickly. This stop was a very good experience overall.

Impromptu stop for lunch. First visit and enjoyed every bite. I was looking for Gluten-free and chose the Pork Carnitas Rice Noodle. I was not disappointed! The hot sauce and spicy flavor was just right for me! My SO had the French Dip Sandwich. I dipped one of the tasty parmasean fries in the au jus. Great flavor. A lot of menu items are sous vide!
