This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. They serve "American Chinese Food" and "Chinese Chinese Food". There are separate menus (both include English language descriptions). The Spicy Range Chicken is a cold appetizer on the Chinese Chinese menu. It was delicious. Seasonal Chinese vegetables were very good too. Moo Shu chicken from American side was tasty. The service was very good. Friendly, informative, helpful. Not pushy or abrupt. Items like white rice and tea were made perfectly. There is also a full bar. If you really like Chinese food, this place is worth a trip.,

Golden Shanghai Restaurant is the only place to go if you're looking for a genuine Chinese meal in Denver. This culinary treasure, which is tucked away in the center of the city, promises to transport your taste buds to China's unique and mouthwatering flavors.
Upon entering Golden Shanghai, you are welcomed by a kind and welcoming ambiance. An delightful supper with friends, family, or a particular someone may be had in the restaurant's intimate atmosphere thanks to its attractive décor, which is ornamented with traditional Chinese motifs.
There is a sizable selection of Chinese meals on the menu at Golden Shanghai, all of which have been expertly and carefully prepared. There is food for every taste, from traditional favorites to local delicacies. Whether you are a seasoned Chinese food connoisseur or a curious outsider
As one of the few restaurants that strived all these years, Golden Shanghai was certainly one of the more popular Chinese restaurants among the locals. Despite having Shanghai in its name, it actually has a wide variety of Chinese cuisines from Sichuan to Fujian specialty plates, many of these you will not find anywhere in town. Compared to other Chinese restaurants, the decor here is one level above, suitable for casual dining or special occasions. If you are clueless what to order, make sure you ask for recommendation. You will not be disappointed. Here are their spicy beef soup, pickled fish soup, Chinese angel hair noodles and shredded pork wraps.
This is a hidden gem! It is located in a strip mall so you would expect a strip mall restaurant. However this is a dining experience. The amount of art and the décor of the restaurant is like a fancy restaurant in Chicago or San Francisco. Is the people are warm and inviting.. The food was absolutely amazing. This is not your dollar scoop blur scoop restaurant. Everything is fresh and made from the best ingredients and was absolutely, positively delicious. If the mood in the restaurant is very relaxed not like the high pressure restaurants that everyone converges on on a Friday night.. They had steady business on a Friday night and the experience was a lot more than I expected. I highly recommend this place.
Quiet, intimate hidden gem with a large menu, attentive service, and excellent food. Easy parking out front, and not super busy during weeknight we were there. Popular for takeout/delivery.
Would definitely go again!
Excellent food, truly exceptional. Great atmosphere. Slightly slow service but we were there at a weird time and it was probably busier than usual. I had the Mongolian beef and it was amazing. My partner loved what I think was Kung Pao shrimp.
I was really craving Chinese food and just moved to this area recently so I didn't have "my spot" that I go to regularly. This place will be my spot I think. Food was good and the order was correct. My only curiosity was jalapeno in the spicy pork belly dish. I just picked them out and I know not to choose "spicy" when ordering, I'll just order it regular. The Lo Mein was really delicious, and the wonton soup was interesting and tastes good! Will be back!
i love their hot and sour soup. the hot and sour soup is the best ever. every saturday i order one hot and sour soup and my hangover is cured upon taking my first bite. if you order anything from here get the hot and sour soup. i wish i could have the recipe for the hot and sour soup. i love you hot and sour soup 🍜
