Amazing food at great prices !. I have eaten at Hanson's several times and have experienced the best customer service of any pearl street restaurant in the Denver area. I love the food and the people there make every visit one to remember. It's a great place to grab a drink or take someone on a date.
Mostly good. I like almost everything I try here but I gotta warn you. I tried the burger with the pineapple on it today and not so much. I think they put a slice of ham on it and that was like leather. I thought someone had left the waxpaper wrapper on the frozen burger (not sure if they were frozen or not). I asked for it medium rare and it came out medium well. That to me is a huge thing. Call me crazy. Anyways like the title indicates everything else that I've tried is really good here. It's got a nice cozy feel with dark wood surroundings. They do have a salad that comes with a jalapeño dressing that is killer.
Also the patio in the back is nice to chill on if the weather is good.
Edit, 10/07/20... unfortunately this place has closed maybe due to covid-19 maybe not.
We met our friends who have kids there and in the back patio it was great. Good beer, pub food and a laid back server. Perfect for a relaxing kid friendly Sunday lunch.
Another good burger place, beer selection could be a bit better but they get by. I also heard that the fish and chips were good.
Great hang out for friends and group meetings. Good service and great specials. Monday night's is 5 dollars burger night. You start with a $5 burger and build your own.
Great service! I built my own burger and the cost was fair. I haven't tasted a burger that was this good in a LONG time! It was kind of noisy but that's what I expected in a bar and grill. I'd love to repeat my visit another time!
Traditional American fare, fantastic sandwiches, not fine dining but well above the average pub fare. I've only been there for lunch, which is fairly quiet, but I get the impression it gets more active in the evenings. Atmospheric historic building, good space. Back patio is pleasant but gets some alley noise and occasional alley smells.
Love this place!! A must order is the Turkey blast with cucumber fries and or veggies. It comes on a delicious croissant!! Also incredible soup and just priceless atmosphere. I definitely don't come here enough.
They used to have a mean meatloaf but it's no longer on the menu, so sad! Otherwise, fun place, friendly service, good food and drinks, good price. Nice place for big crowd, accommodating and lots of space for a rowdy family. I would like to make a suggestion that the servers not handle water pitchers by the spout.
I have gone here on multiple occasions on different days and the food is always wonderful. The staff is super friendly. It is one of my favorite places to go for a classic hamburger without the soggy buns like some places. I recommend this place to family and friends!

I've primarily been here in the later evening for dinner or drinks. The food is good (I love the onion rings and salads), the bartenders are very personable, parking is rarely a problem, and it's a great atmosphere for a younger crowd that wants a low-key, social evening. Their upstairs has a pool table and other games to keep you busy, too! I only give it four stars because while it's comfortable and the food is good, it is not terribly unique.
Great burgers and great drink selection. If you want a chilled environment that’s not a sports bar but want to watch something in the background over a cold beer this is a great option. Car Parking for 15+ cars plus close to all the other great taverns/restaurants on S Pearl St
