One of the best Indian restaurants in Denver.
We had a Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani and some naans, and they were all so tasty and well prepared.
The naans were fresh and chewy, and both the dishes were well executed. The waitstaff were very friendly.
I am coming back!
One of the few Indian restaurants left that still offer a lunch buffet in the Denver area since the pandemic. In my opinion, this is the best way to try different Indian dishes.
The food was delicious - the Tandoori Chicken had fresh vegetables (see photo below) and my Chai was fantastic! Although the atmosphere is really nice, our server Harry, was welcoming, attentive, and awesome, which makes the experience at this location even better!
We've been dining here for years and it has always been very good. The servers and owners are always genuinely friendly, the atmosphere warm and lively, with delicious, aromatic food.
But on Thursday, we felt that everything had been turned up several notches. The sitar player always adds to our experience, but even the papadam and chutneys we started with seemed far more flavourful and fresh. The main dishes confirmed our initial impressions -- everything had so much more flavour!
We asked our server, who said that there was a new Chef.
Don't get me wrong -- we have always loved the food at Little India, and have never been disappointed. But this tasted so much more like the authentic cuisine I've had abroad and in cities like New York. We'd just always figured the flavours were "dumbed-down" a bit for the Coloradan palate.
The dinner we enjoyed this past week made us want to return even more often than we already do.
I've also ordered delivery from this restaurant and can attest to the high quality of the food and attention to detail when packing the order.
If you love Indian cuisine, this is a great place to dine. Certainly our favourite spot in Denver.
This place is incredible! As of Sept '23 the downing location still has their lunch buffet. I was looking to try different foods since I've only ever had 2 dishes and this was perfect! Our server Harry was fantastic and food was worth the drive!
My husband and I love this restaurant! The staff is personable, warm and helpful. Their signature dishes are all incredible and the lamb is consistently tender. Try the Saag if you like spinach! Their food is authentic and fresh and I always feel great after eating here.
Overall 10/10 experience and we’ll be back soon!
So delicious! The food was super pretty and our waiter Yaya was amazing. Would definitely recommend!
The food is incredible. It’s a cozy place and the service was excellent. The server was a joy and there was so much food we took home leftovers. Definitely a must-eat kind of place.

Dimly lit and beautiful atmosphere. Tried Mango Lassi at AustIndia in TX, wasn't too impressed. Tried it here, and WOW! Literally tastes like mango! Better than a Naked Mango juice, if you like those. Lamb biryani was delicious. Not heavy on the peanuts, so you don't mind the crunch every now and then. Large portions, like family style. We took leftovers home.
The restaurant is amazing! Our server’s name was Harry and he made the best chai for my wife! It was an amazing experience, and the food was wonderful we!
We ate buffet on Saturday afternoon
Food options: Different salad, mango custard, kheer, samosa, pakoda, tandoor chicken, naan( very fresh), panner saag, channa masala, veg korma, rice and butter chicken.
Food: Everything was very good, specially samosa and naan were best we had in few years in usa. We order mango lassi as extra and it was pretty good as well.
Service: Both of our servers were very sweet and nice to us. I hope there management knows that.
