The Red Sea Bream Jalapeño was my personal favorite, had to order a second round of it! So delicious. Especially with their fresh wasabi!

Great sushi! From out of town and was very impressed with the variety of rolls and quality! Would definitely return. Everything was unique and tasted great. Wait staff had great recommendations.
The basics rolls were reallly good and the fresh wasabi was also really good but some of the sushi I got was not my cup of tea. I felt like it was definitely overpriced but the server was great and the plum wine was fire.
Friendly service, we had a large party and they were very accommodating to our needs. (Friends' birthday). The majority of the sushi was really good. We had 1/5 of the rolls that we were not a fan of, but the others were pretty good.

My wife and I love Fontana Sushi. We live in the neighborhood, and it is our go-to restaurant when we have a sitter and date night. This place doesn't need to put a bunch of fancy light fixtures or artsy chairs and tables to give you the impression of a great meal; the great meal is earned from the excellent sushi and wonderful customer service- from the lady that greets us at the door, to the servers and the sushi chefs behind the small counter. Their friendliness is contagious, my wife and I can go here and reliably relax and enjoy the moment without so much fuss. The sushi is outstanding- from the real wasabi and anything they recommend for the week, it is always fresh and flavorful, with a lot of options for a variety of tastes.
We chuckle when we pass restaurants with lines nearby- they're missing out on great people and great food. Even on a Friday night, we rarely have to wait. Whether you're on a first date, or a night with the family give it a shot if in the neighborhood (unless you're a jerk, then find a reservation-only place with a line and don't ruin this place's vibe!)
Fontana sushi is the best sushi in Denver. Their sushi chef’s make unbelievably creative and refreshing rolls. Service is always very nice and attentive. I’ve been here many times since moving nearby and will keep coming back as long as I’m in Denver!
Prices are reasonable and fresh wasabi is incredible.

This place would totally get 5 stars if it wouldn’t be for the awful customer service. We waited for about 15 minutes at the front, as the front desk was empty. When we finally got a table, we waited for the waiter for about the same amount of time. The customer service is quite poor at this place. After we have finally ordered, we waited for the food for approximately 40 minutes… The service is very slow. This place is definitely not for a quick grab. Maybe it’s because we went on Christmas, but still. We were waiting for our tea for more than 40 minutes. Wait times are absolutely horrible. We came at 18:15 and we haven’t received anything until 19:13. We had to ask for everything several times. On a more positive note though, the menu has a lot of options, which is good. The sushi we tried were delicious, very fresh, had decent amount of flavor, sauces, spices, etc. The food is served well, the dishes look nice. Soups were good, but udon could use some more flavor, teriyaki salmon was pretty good, but they were out of seafood teriyaki. Weird for a Japanese spot. Overall, our experience was slightly clouded by the incompetent staff, but overall though, we enjoyed the time we spent at this spot.
This is our favorite sushi place in the Denver area. All the staff are wonderful. Sushi is on point and they have fresh made Wasabi which is unique and delicious. Matt is the best server and will treat you well. Highly recommend!!
Beat Sushi in Denver hands down. Think Sushi Den without the pretentious and price. Go eat here! Get the special!
