Everything about this place is charming. I go to uni across the street at MSU Denver and I love coming here for a good pick-me-up with great coffee and great prices.
It’s a great place to focus and get things done, it’s also a great place to relax.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.

One of the best coffee place if you are tired of Starbucks papercup. You will get good downtown view with Cup of coffee with variety in menu. Pleasent environment.

Great coffee, great food, and great view of the city. Prices aren't bad for a downtown coffee shop and the product is always good. Personally I really like their Chia and scones. You also get wine and beer here, but I haven't tried it yet.

The only downsides are that the food here is expensive and the long lines can make it an awkward space to navigate. But overall, the soups and pastries are rich and delicious. The salads are full of unique, flavorful choices. And the coffee is standard and competent. It helps that this is near art and a cute neighborhood to walk around. This is a great cafe for some casual food and company. But it could also please those with sophisticated tastes.

Pretty good coffee for a reasonable price! Add in the nice cozy atmosphere and a pretty view of the ground level of Denver and you get a nice place to stop by for a quick break. Only downside is no wifi, therefore if you're looking to get any work done this may not be the place.

Backstage has plenty of seating, power plugs, free WiFi with a purchase, and a great location downtown. It's always quiet and not too crowded. The area by the bar can be, but there's plenty of seating and tables on the other side of the building. Great coffee and they offer a variety of pastries. And gluten-free (until they run out).

Great place friendly people food is very good. Enjoyed the bagles and tea. that was recommended. Good choice. Will visit again next time were are around. Prices are very good.

I walk past this spot, on the way to work, every morning. The storefront is a nice, chill splash of culture with art and posters supporting local and indie productions. All cool in my book but, what really is wonderful is that the baristas will wave back at me, every day, as I walk by -- whether I can stop by or not. Oh, and the espresso is pretty dang good, as well ;)

We love this place. We are here once a week for most of the year. The service is always super nice, even when it's hectic. The scones are delicious with a SPICY chai latte. All the pastries are delicious!!
