I got the beef tartare, Brussels sprout orcchiette and the pork cheek maiale with the wine pairings. And tiramisu for dessert (not on the restaurant week menu). It was so amazing! I could've eaten a whole plate of the beef tartare! This is my favorite Italian restaurant!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Denver the new location is beautiful & stylist. Had a wonderful pasta dish with a lovely Italian vino 🍷 ❤️Rino too
On our way down Larimer street to another restaurant e decided to stop here instead. It was the best decision we made on food in a while! The gnocchi was incredible and made fresh with homemade pesto. The muscles had a delicious spice to them that is often absent from other establishments and not overpowering at all. Sitting at the bar we received the best service and excellent wine suggestions. I recommend reservations if you come anytime on the weekend.
Got right in with a reservation. The food and drinks were outstanding but our waiter was almost absent. Would have liked to get dessert but we decided against it since it would take so long. Besides that, everything else was outstanding!
Amazing Italian! Food was wonderful, we shared a bunch of luscious small plates & ended up happy and stuffed! Our waitress was interesting and attentive. It would be 5 stars except for the terrible parking experience that is lodo / Larimer. It's almost impossible to actually get to this fine establishment due to the poor & difficulty parking situation. Uber in, seriously.
We popped in for dinner and got their Suppli appetizer(the best arancini I’ve found in Denver, we got two), Pappardelle, and Pesto Gnocchi. Everything tasted great. The Pappardelle won out over the Gnocchi, would really recommend it and the Suppli.
We also got some cocktails. The espresso martini was great. The Carrot Daddy was also really good.
This is a fun, cute place with great Italian inspired food and drinks! Live outside DJ on Friday nights makes for great ambiance! Service was lacking terribly but the food was great!
We came to Il Posto for my birthday, and it was fabulous. The food was delicious, but the service was over the top. We were brought complimentary champagne when we were seated and amazing dessert to finish off our night. I couldn’t be happier with my birthday dinner :)
Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. We got a bottle of wine recommended to us by the server and it paired nicely with the food. We wanted authentic italian fare and the food was spot on. Since we were there celebrating our anniversary, the server gifted us dessert drinks to finish our meal. The price was fair for what we got, especially compared to other Italian places in the area. Great experience, overall.
The atmosphere was eclectic and could have used some refining but I would not let that stop you from giving it a try.
The flavor of each dish was impeccable. Our group shared gnocchi, mussels, chicken, mushroom risotto and broccolini, and we each had our own favorites, but loved them all. I personally loved the chicken, both sauces were delicious. The cost was a bit high, but we went all out on drinks and dessert as well. Highly recommend the creme brulee. It might be a basic dish, but it was *chef's kiss* here.
Very kind service but took a while! The calamari is pretty horrible, no one at a table of 10 could eat it. The carrot tortellini on the other hand was INCREDIBLE. Very small portions, so come willing to spend.
Heard really great things about this place from a good friend of mine so we made reservations ahead of time for dinner. Got there around 5:30 on a Thursday and practically had the place to ourselves. Although it did start to pick up quite a bit especially, by the time we left. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. We sat upstairs with a beautiful view of the city. The service was amazing and the food was exceptional. Ordered the Chicken Milanese and it was incredible. Located in the rino art district. I Highly recommend this place.
