Hedge Row

I had a great brunch this last Sunday at The Row. I do love stuffed waffles, and other decant treats with my brunch but to me the true measure of a good brunch is the traditional fare. We started with the ricotta toast, it was a nice start, fruity and rich. I had the country breakfast, it was awesome. Yes, it was eggs, hash browns, white bread, greenery, and sausages, basic I know... It’s the way its cooked and the ingredients that set this breakfast apart. The eggs were perfectly over easy, the hash browns fully cooked, thick home style white bread toasted brown, some greenery (still not sure what this was), huge perfectly flavored link sausages and nothing was greasy. The sausages were so delicious it was hard to share, I had to fight my wife off. I find this restaurant to be nice and approachable. The open floor, the view of the kitchen, the luminous bar and the large windows all combine to create a bright friendly scene. Hedge Row just feels more approachable than the typical Cherry Creek bistro.

Nice modern farmhouse feel in the restaurant. Parking was a bit challenging but they do have valet. The fish tacos were spectacular!! Decent wine list. I had the fire-roasted veggies which were also delicious and all tied together very well. I added the chicken and though it was good it wasn't anything above or beyond. We also tried the salmon and it was also spectacular. The chefs here do a great job of tying all items on a dish together where each item individually may be fantastic, when they are combined in the palate they really set off fireworks. Also exceptional service very friendly, attentive, and good knowledge of the menu. Will be going back to try more dishes!

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and excellent service. It was a very enjoyable meal, and we will definitely come back often.

This is a modern, elegant restaurant, with with really good food and service. We got lucky, in that both the Broncos and Rockies were playing that night, so the place was fairly empty. Apparently, they are normally pretty packed. Our table sampled the Gulf Shrimp Hushpuppies, the Crispy Fish Lettuce "Tacos", and the Wood Roasted Lamb Meatballs. All were delicious. I had the Mole Braised Short Rib and the Creamy Grits. They were wonderful. I was told that the Roasted Pork Chops were about as good as it gets, the same with their Green Beans. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but a meal of this caliber makes for a nice treat.
