Friggin' *adorable* book shop with a rad menu of coffee, tea, cocktails, beer, and wine! Tons of fun to browse with a great beverage in hand I visited at a point where I hadn't yet had breakfast or lunch - no beers or adult bevvies for me 😭 - but my London Fog (Earl Grey tea latte) was suuuuuperdelish. The shop didn't have either of the music-related books I was hoping to find, but I really appreciated the staff member's intuitive suggestion, "hey based on these books you're requesting, I think you'll enjoy the entertainment section in the nonfiction room there in the back of the shop..." ...and I *did*. Thanks!!

I am absolutely in love with this bookstore! I can’t wait to take my friends here when they all visit. The coffee and wine bar is precious and there are tons of books to choose from. Perfect place to study, read or meet friends!

This is a 1 of a kind place with no other like it in Denver that I am aware of. I recently found out about this amazing gem from a co- worker. I stopped by about a week ago. They just so happened to be having story night that evening. That is just 1 amongst other little events they have throughout the months. After story time, I ordered the yummiest dirty chai, took a look around and sat & read a book. This place had the most coziest, homiest, welcoming vibe ever! I seen families walking around with their little ones- as there is a childrens section of books as well which is great. I seen friends meeting up to chat and couples passing through on their way to dinner. The menu had some tasty snacks, wine, coffee, tea, cocktails etc... It was like a library with a coffee house feel & a bar. The place screams community! I was saddened to learn that the doors will be closing some time in Jan 2023!! What? Whyyy? This is a very unique place that is open to all walks of life, family's, loners, you name it. This is a gem you come across once in a lifetime. I am curious if the owner plans to sell or would allow another to run the place if it is too time consuming? None the less, I would like to mention what this place may be doing for others who may need a place like this to go. I happened to be having a very rough week- as some may after the holidays & all.. there was some family feuding and I was feeling pretty low. Walking into this place was like walking into a different time. I immediately felt welcomed, chatted with great people and my worries definitely melted away. The good feelings even lingered after I left. So thank you very much!! Oh yea, the location is really great as well. There are some cute boutiques on the strip and some yummy places for dinner. I could only hope the owners could see what a difference they are making and choose to stay open. *If there is anything I can do to assist this place staying open, please let me know*

Super cute bookstore and bar combined. We bought a few gifts for a friend but didn't have time for drinks. Will definitely have to come back! Tons of options for books and bookish items.

Really cool spot. I love finding unique bookstores in cities I am visiting. Saw a lot of interesting books that I could easily have ended up buying. Would definitely go back and spend more time there.

A great place to hang out. The place was recommended by a friend and BookBar did not disappoint. There are a few sitting area where you can lounge and read books. There’s also a small bar that offers drinks and sweets. Unfortunately, due to COVID they only offer take out. What I was drawn the most is the collection of books. They offer books written by people of color, LGBTQ+ persons, and local writers. There is a sense of diversity and inclusion once you enter the shop. Lastly, they have some events that people can attend virtually and in person. We bought two books from the store. Both are highly recommended.

BookBar is a welcoming place to buy and read a book. It's like a warm, friendly living room. This my 100 year old Underwood Standard portable with a cup of hot chocolate.

Loved this little but big book bar. It has ample outdoor seating for all to enjoy eats, treats, a drink and their book. Happy I stumbled upon this great place.

I think this was Watson sandwich, it was good but the lady took too long time to bring it to me, I guess it was understandable b/c she was busy taking orders. I am a person who supports local bookstores and this is really nice bookstore and great place to make communities.
