We had the Irish nachos, shepherd's pie, and bread pudding. The meat in the nachos was like sandwich deli meat rather than corned beef (shredded) but if you can get past that texture it was pretty good. The Shepherd's pie was heavy on the gravy and didn't have enough cheese. And the bread pudding was a big block of bread. It was too chewy with some sauce and ice cream. Everything was edible but nothing to bring me back.
We head to Darcy's a few times a month and we always enjoy the food, atmosphere, and staff. There are booths and tables, with plenty of space for larger groups as well.
There are cozier tables on the upper level, where a fireplace burns during the colder months. The patio is great too when the weather holds! Service has always been really great and there is one waiter in particular that always makes us laugh (you'll know if you get him).
Great food service and atmosphere. My Cajun burger could have used more flavor though. I didn't recall tasting the blue cheese at all. But everything else was great
Enioyed a simple dinner while watching the World Cup. French Onion soup was delicious. Burger and fries were both good. A nice selection of N/A beer.
If I could give Krystal, Todd, and the whole pub 7 starts, I'd give them 8. A group of my colleagues and I ended up here after another establishment seemed disinclined to host us. Darcy's was actually pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon, and they didn't flinch when we walked in and wanted an area for 10 people to mingle, drink, and munch on some food. Krystal was happy to offer us 3 different areas to choose from, and she took phenomenal care of us, with the periodic help of Todd. We weren't rushed, everyone had great attitudes and service (which is very hard to find these days), and the food/drinks were better than alright. I had even made a passing comment about having to leave by a certain time so I better get my last drink ordered, and Krystal made sure to bring my check for me as I was getting ready to ask her for it. My colleagues were all pleased and very complimentary of what we received, especially considering the roadblocks we had just faced from a similar place. We will go back, and I recommend anybody go there to eat, drink, mingle, and just be.
Had some great Irish food. Mariel was one of the best waitreses we have had in a long time. I over talked another person at our table and she still answered my question multi tasking. Food was great too. I would recommend. Happy hour on a Saturday is great too.
Food was great. Atmosphere was average and the service was good. Shepherds pie was really tasty and served quick and steaming hot.
This restaurant is fantastic, and I am not pulling your leg. Not only is the food well balanced and the menu is outstanding but the atmosphere is also quite impressive. Every employee is enthusiastic, really takes care of you, and treats you like family. There is plenty of room and the environment feels like home. I highly recommend this restaurant as my wife and will become regulars.
We LOVE coming here - it's a cute little bistro out of the way and the food is absolutely excellent.
The fried pickles tend to become my whole meal (they are SO good) and the environment is warm, calm, and not too loud.
Quite good quality. I dined there because I was told the fries are the best around, but you'll have to decide for yourself. I also tried the fish/chips, reuben, and chicken tender strips.
