Best food and best customer service I have ever had, hands down. Our waitress, Shannon, made amazing recommendations and even warned me that the food I was ordering had a good amount of spice to it before she put my order in. I really appreciated that. Very good experience here and definitely recommend this place to everyone!
The atmosphere was festive, it was 2 days before Halloween. The food was beyond great. I had the coffee rubbed pork tenderloin dinner which was a good size portion. I could have ate a complete 2nd one it was that good. My compliments eere sent to the chef. Fantastic.
THE ONLY proper bar/restaurant in the neighborhood (soon to be) formerly known as Stapleton. Bacon is their most precious resource & they utilize it to perfection. My only compliant is the Brussels Sprouts appetizer is not a permanent fixture. Go there & buy the kitchen staff a 6-pack of PBR. Fancy food without the pretense.
The Berkshire = Bacon, everything is better with bacon an they prove it. They offer 6 taps of draft beer, 5 of them being microbrews along with 12-15 canned beers which is unique. Just ask Julie, Marissa or Katie who tend bar for the list and recommendation.
I go for lunch at least once a week and my choices for apps are:
Bacon wrapped Bacon, how can that be wrong, Yum! Also the Firecracker shrimp stuffed with Sriracha cream cheese and of course wrapped in bacon.
On the lunch menu they offer 6 varieties of burgers, 4 different sliders, tacos and a list of sandwiches. Personally I like the BLT and fries with a draft of Odell's 5 Barrel Pale Ale.
So if ya love bacon like I do, try out the Berkshire and ask for Megan!
I've gone here for brunch & lunch and have had a great time every time. The service is great - from the hostess to the bartenders to the servers; we never feel rushed to leave. They allow dogs outside the patio but always make sure the pups have water. The bottomless mimosas are awesome and worth it. Fave food: bacon pancake! Thick strip of bacon in the middle of a lightly-fried pancake covered in maple syrup. The "flight of bacon" is a hilarious concept, based on trying four different kinds/flavors of bacon. The jalepeño poppers (covered in bacon) can either be too spicy or just right, depending on your taste buds.
Overall, a great place to people watch, play rummy drunk, and enjoy some tasty food.
Fun environment. My wife and I met my brother and his girlfriend here for brunch. They had a table waiting for us. The waitress gave us just the right amount of attention throughout. The food and drinks were presented well and tasted great. The only negative was one dish was ordered with over medium eggs and they came out over easy...Not a terrible thing and wasn't worth sending back although I'm sure the staff would have corrected it if we'd asked. We all were amused with the quotes on the walls and menus. Overall a fun place to get your bacon fix on.
Food okay, service okay, overall okay. Went with a group of friends on New Year's Day.
The restaurant was moderately busy. The service was slow. We all had ordered.... let's see I had the egg white omelette which was small and served with toast (not toasted...and greens just greens). it tasted ok but I was a little disappointed with what it received for the prices.
One of my friends ordered the waffles.... and again small, her waffle was overcooked.... disappointed.
Then.... one of my other friends and the cheesy tater tot breakfast.... it was awesome.... a huge portion, delicious and well presented.
then dan and dan had the farmers breakfast and the pork cutlets.... which again were huge, plentiful, hot and looked great.
The food did take an awful long time to come out. But we were 3/5. I would definately go back to try this place.... just maybe avoid the waffle and the eggwhite omelette.

Just A Great Place To Eat and Drink. Over the last few years I have visited the Berkshire for many a meal while in Denver on business. Over that time I have came to know a manager, several bartenders, waiters and waitresses, one of the chefs, and regular customers at the Berkshire. It is truly one great group of people that put out some awesome food.
Anything they do pork wise has always been very tasty, and most often inventive. Since they change the menu often to match what local producers are offering, I cannot offer an item that will always be on the menu (except the Lobster Mac and Cheese has been a menu staple since I have visited and is AWESOME).
If you are staying in the Stapleton area of Denver, this is hands down the place to get a great meal or cocktail while catching the pedestrian traffic at an outside table or inside watching some college football on one of the many big screen TVs.
Be sure and check what dessert Sue has made for that week!
Looking for a new brunch spot and found the Berkshire on Google Places. Nice bustling place, nice everything. Service was attentive and helpful (was very familiar with the menu and made useful suggestions). The chicken-fried-bacon appetizer looked interesting, won't do that again - greasy, but then what would you expect. Food was good, hot, tasty and a reasonable value. Nice find. We'll surely go again.
Wow. What a menu. Pork fat in all it's glory. Very interesting menu, great service. Solid but limited beer selection. Will definitely return and highly recommend!
Bacon!. Great food and even better brunch $7.50 bottomless mimosas all weekend! Seasonal menu offers great variety and you must try the bacon. Offered with most items is awesome

The food was amazing! We started with the burrata which was delicious! I had the pork tenderloin which was really juicy and flavorful. The potatoes were a little spicy but all together it was a nice blend of sweet and spicy. We grabbed some desserts as well, the cheesecake and spice cake - both were to die for! Overall the atmosphere is very chill and laid back.
Very good meatball app, had to come back for another round of them. The day before enjoyed bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, very good but the bacon could of been lil bit crispier. Was all very good this spot also has a nice patio
The best restaurant in Denver by far! Such amazing food and great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and the food came out very quickly. I will be coming back whenever I am in Denver and I will be recommending it to everyone I know.
We are traveling from California and went here last night for dinner. We had seen the Chicharrones Shrimp and since we are doing keto we're intrigued. When we got there the atmosphere was casual, but the food on the menu definately made you feel like you were somewhere super fancy. They also have a cute patio and bar area. Personally that is our favorite combo. We started with the shrimp which were amazing!! I had the smaller cob, and he had the pork green chilli. He liked it so much he asked if I could figure out how to make it at home. All in all we thought it was great and would go again the next time we are in town.
Chose the duck breast paired with a red blend. The duck was prepared well and was on top a blackberry reduction type sauce(I think). Id prefer a few more blackberries as they were surprisingly refined and provided a subtle fruitful accent to the duck.
I had the chocolate tart for dessert. Essentially straight chocolate and caramel tart. Normally, I have a limit with profoundly chocolate desserts ( like my sweet tooth kicks out) but this was not overbearing. They dress is it with a lemon puree sauce which was an excellent choice.
Our server fully understood & respected our Ketogenic Diet and he arranged our sides like cooked spinach instead of risotto let us have some low carb sauces. We definitely recommend here for all picky dieters like us💕
Very comfy and casual place. Free street parking. No wait for a high top table. First time eating here. Very friendly host and wait staff. Efficient. Good music playing in background. They specialize in pork dishes but I had the Denver cheesesteak sandwich pictured. They serve skinny fries. Food was very good. Sandwiches and burgers were too pricey in my opinion.
