I’ve walked past Tin Roof for years. Stopping to watch a band from outside but never went in until last week. It was a Tuesday so it was Karaoke night. Never seen Karaoke in person. Tin roof has both indoor and outdoor sides with a bar in both areas. The outdoor bar was less busy so we got our drinks there.
I’m a tequila drinker and the selection of tequila is limited with Casamigos reposado being the highest end tequila there. We were there for the Karaoke so it didn’t matter (too much). Drinks come in plastic glasses which is a good idea for a place like this. The bartender was friendly and the drink prices were average. There were a few servers both inside and outside but we went to the bar for our drinks. Next time I’ll use a server so I don’t need to get the drinks myself.
The crowd covered every age group which was a nice surprise as I expected us to be the oldest there which we weren’t. The night was fun. Everyone was supportive of all the Karaoke singers. Both the good and the “not as good” singers were fun. What some lack in voice, made up for in being fun on stage. There were also a few duos and even one family who was our favorite to watch. They were having so much fun on stage together.
We went again the following week and it was the same. Another fun time with many of the same people singing but a few new singers. If you have never been to Karaoke, go to Tin Roof on a Tuesday and check it out.
Our third trip was on a Thursday to hear a cover band called Royals from New Jersey. They covered all of the songs we like to dance to. A few people were dancing but there wasn't a dance floor inside. Tin Roof has an indoor and outdoor stage. This night the band was inside. I wish one or two tables were removed so there would be a dance floor. I’m sure there would have been lots of people dancing and having more fun if there was a dance floor.
I started this review with a 4 Star rating. How can you have live music and no dance floor? What turned it into 5 Stars was that everyone at Tin Roof works hard and is friendly. The customers all were having a great time. It’s a fun atmosphere and has many regulars there.
If you like music and want to have a great night out you should check out Tin Roof.

Went for the free comedy show but enjoyed the live music first. The DJ played a good set of 80's music also. If I'm ever in the area in the future will definitely revisit.

Mike is a phenomenal bartender outside. The band was great. I'm 50 and the crowd was pretty young. But, south fla is the fountain of youth if you're out early. Great night...

Been to Tin Roof in Orlando & the service was amazing so I thought Delray would be great too... I was wrong. After showing our ID's, the bouncer followed me in to say he wasn't going to let my sister in (after he already did). He said my sister was talking but not making any sense so this must mean she's too drunk to be here... (my sister was on the phone in her Airpods speaking in our native language!) When I explained this to him, he then said she was tripping over her feet & could barley walk so she has to leave. I signaled her to walk over to me & she did perfectly fine. (my sister does not drink alcohol at all & hasn't for years now!!) When she walked over, he obviously saw she was fine but wouldn't leave us alone. He said that he's going to watch me the entire time and not take his eyes off me (even though he just said my sister was the "drunk" one). He was really creepy and really did stare at us the ENTIRE time, to a point where I had to turn my chair around to face away from him so I could feel more comfortable. I still felt very uncomfortable but we came from Miami just for Tin Roof so ended up staying for a meal and a drink before leaving. At least Alex the bartender was great! Food was good. I would love to come back for Alex's great service as long as the weird bouncer isn't there! Alex gets 5 stars but the overall experience gets 1 star because of the bouncer.

Great music, strong drinks, decent food options. We stopped in after Sunday Brunch for some cocktails and people watched. We had several cocktails and ended up ordering some food.
