Pollo Tropical

Omgee where do I begin. That shrimp/chicken/steak trio with black beans, brown rice and grilled onions was so delicious I could eat it everyday as long as it's on the menu that is what I will order every time. I thought I was in cuba 😂 oh and I brought a side of the mini beef empanadas they were great also I dipped them in the cilantro garlic sauce. My my my my tummy was well pleased.

Good healthy quick bite! I got a salad, platters, a quesadilla and desserts. The tomatoes were amazing - salad is a must try! I’ll skip on the quesadilla- it was so small. Some desserts like flan were frozen so I couldn’t eat it, so I would stick with 3 leches. Platters were big and delicious. Heads up, if you’re ordering drivethru, check your order…it’s been 2 times since they missed an item. Taste’s good tho!

I had not eaten Pollo Tropical in years since there are none where I live. They added a lot of things to their menu like Churrasco( not sure if is good)They no longer sell Jupina, Coco Rico and Materva( very disappointing). We ordered Yuca and it was fried...dry. I ate the Yucca because we paid for it but not because it taste well. The chicken was dry too. Old Pollo from years back was better. Pollo Tropical in Miami is still good! At least I got my desire to eat here over with. Checked off my list. Perhaps its better at another location besides in Miami. Its a quick and inexpensive meal.
