I've been to many local establishments, this one takes the cake for ribs and sirloin. Absolutely fantastic! Great service and great entrees. Steak was prepared spot on medium rare, ribs literally fell off the bone with a homemade sauce that compares to nothing I've had. Skip the red potatoes and head to the garlic bread, salad and cole slaw... which by the way is not creamy yet has the best combination of sweet, hot and smooth all in one bite.
The food and drinks are AMAZING. Can’t ever go wrong with a pineapple upside down and a slice of cheesecake. Great atmosphere, love it!! The staff are always amazing and know you by name! Always clean and welcoming!
However on one occasion, the general manager, I believe his name was Chandler, made a nasty comment to my cousin when she asked for a refill on an alcoholic beverage. He had rolled his eyes and asked her if she had a drinking problem under his breath. Hence, the 4 star review. This comment upset her and I greatly, but I am a very forgiving person, so I decided to give it another shot.
This has been forgiven, and is in no way a reflection of the staff at Brick and Mortar. But I will always love my hometown pub!
Bartender was amazing. The food was delicious! I had the half rack ribs and they did not disappoint. The drunken apples were superb.
First time there this evening. Had a few drinks and got to go order. While I was sitting there I was waited on by a super friendly bartender with a great personality that knew all the special drinks and menu. Down the bar for me was the owner which I did not know. He took time out of his day to complement my taste in music on the TouchTunes jukebox and made sure to say goodbye to not only myself but the rest of the guests before he left. That really tells you a lot about a person. Great atmosphere and scenery. Got home and ate my food and it was great. Had the chicken pesto pasta and an order of wings all of which were amazing. Will definitely be back again!
Drove through Delphi on 2-23-22 and stopped in to this Pub. Great food and good beer selection. All the food was excellent and Coleslaw was some of the best I have ever had for a side. Misty was great bar tender to top it off. This will be on my list and will go out of my way to stop in here again. I had the salmon dinner with ravioli.. Great stuff
Every time I eat here, I'm amazed that it's in Delphi Indiana. When brick and mortar opened, the owner also bought the sandwich shop next door and restored it with even more charm than it had originally. The quality of food, service, and beer menu are all top notch. In the summer, they also have back patio seating, so don't be disappointed if the restaurant is full when you walk in. They may have a tables available out back.
Had the portobello pasta- and honestly loved it, but far too much pasta, even with all of the pasta, and the requested light sauce.
Nonetheless, I liked the food, the staff and prices.
The menu has a good selection, without being an entire novel of foods.
Was quite good.
The ribs and the whiskey burger was absolutely awesome! Getting it to go took almost an hour. Of course I had my phone and things to catch up on....but if you're really hungry I say go during 2pm to 3pm. It seems like most restaurants even beside this one in Monticello and others have a staffing problem. All we can do during this time is be patient. The food was great!
