Home made pasta was both cooked perfectly and delicious. The meat sauce was rich and full of meat. The gnocchi was homemade just like my Uncle Lou's, which is my benchmark gnocchi. It was hand rolled and pinched in true Italian style. If in the area again I will definitely stop again.
Food was soo good. The server was very friendly and made my daughter laugh!
I was sharing a memory of this place, from 1970s, with my husband and am so surprised and happy that it is still there! It was called the Spaghetti House back then. A wonderful couple owned it. Lou? If anyone remembers their names, I'd love to know! They always stopped at our table to chat. I'd get their incredible homemade Spaghetti & meatballs for a couple of dollars and a 10 inch Ice Cream Sundae in a parfait glass with whipped cream and cherries for I think $2! I'd love to know the history of this place, especially the original owner's names. He was very lively and she was lovely, charming and shapely. We felt like family, they were so kind. Do you have any pictures of them and/or what it looked like inside?
My hubby had the homemade spaghetti and loved it! I had the eggplant parmesan and it was likely the best I have ever had! The eggplant was sliced thin and fried to crispy perfection. Both dishes were very generous potions, no way you could leave there hungry!! This is going to be a regular visit for us for sure. I hope next time we go our favorite waitress will be there though, she was great too!
Had a wonderful meal here, our waitress was the best! Her recommendations on the menu were spot on! we loved everything And after having total waste of an hour visiting Penn Highway market place.
My grandson loved it! The four-year-old scarfed up his spaghetti! Very nice place. Good food decent prices and very friendly service!!! Only thing I could have used; some Frank Sinatra music floating in background. ☺☺
