Jersey Mike's Subs

This past June marked my very 1st visit to this location and only my 2nd visit to a Jersey Mike's in general, Gurnee was the 1st at least 4 years ago. I guess when it comes to sub sandwiches, I tend to be picky and have to be in the mood for one. The subs here are really good though and I actually came back twice over the next 6 weeks. In the world of subs, the competition is fierce and JM's is not alone out there. You've got Subway, Potbelly & Jimmy John's just a few seconds away, Firehouse, Penn Station, Quizno's, Cousins, etc. These subs seem to be of good quality with fresh ingredients, tables are always clean at this location, haven't had an issue with the customer service yet and prices still seem reasonable. For me to come back repeatedly to a sub shop, they have to have at least one sub that sticks out as far as taste. In 3 visits since this past June I've had the Big Kahuna, the Philly and the Italian; all are great. I think I've just stumbled onto a taste that's grown on me and just typing this has me planning my next visit. Jersey Mike's is a GO!!

First off, very friendly, polite, and helpful staff so already off to a great start. But we also have a daughter who has celiac disease, and the staff understood its issues and even remade her sandwich without any prompting when they realized they might have cross contaminated. Very pleased with them.

Very impressed. I have a gluten allergy and usually get nervous when eating at a places were I can get sick/cross-contaminated, but the two employees were great. They asked if it was a preference or allergy, and then I saw the employee change his gloves three times while making my sub! Any time he touched something that someone else may have touched while making a regular sub, he changed his gloves. Not many places do this unless you ask. Thank you very much!

Probably the best sammich place I've been to compared to quiznos and subway!! Right off the bat the employees are super nice. They were very happy to assist me and my coworkers with our choices. Generous with the meat and so tasty and flavorful! I got Grilled Pastrami Rueben and it is outstanding!! I also had their brownie for my side instead. Clean place, nice atmosphere, and outstanding customer service. Very pricey but it's the price I'm willing to pay! See attached photos!
