FT always delivers the good stuff. I'd forgotten how amazing the chicken fried steak w side o' gravy is on a blustery Spring morning. And how can you beat a cup o' diner coffee in a palm sized cup? And the ladies make the experience just like eating at the farm house. Love it!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the town of Decorah. I had the steak and eggs omlette and my girlfriend has the fried chicken special. Both meals were served promptly and hot. We were waited on very well and the servers made sure to keep my coffee full. The price of the meal was very reasonable compared to other diners in town. You know this place is good because alot of the local retired folks eat here and it can be hard to get seated. I would highly recommend!

This was our first time to this restaurant. We had Donna as our waitress...she was phenomenal and so friendly! The food was served hot, fresh, fast and delicious! If you eat here, make SURE you ask for Donna!
Our original waitress was not friendly and very rude. She acted like we were an inconvenience for her. I asked for a different server and we got Donna. Thank you Donna, your friendly service was much appreciated! 😊

I ordered a philly cheesesteak and it didn't have any cheese so I mentioned it to the waitress who took it back in the kitchen and put a slice of American cheese on it. Disgusting!!By the time she got back to the table my food was cold. Won't ever stop in there again!!

Enjoyed the fish and shrimp dinner with family. The fish was perfectly deep fried and the refilled plate was a bonus because It was so yummy!! The waitress was hometown friendly which I appreciate! Just so busy with very limited seating.

We come here every time we visit Decorah. They have a nice menu for breakfast all day with great pancakes and waffles, and excellent home made pies - the blueberry and sour cream raisin are our favorites. The grilled tilapia was also very good with a variety of sides to choose from.

Staff was friendly enough.
Food was ok. (Onion rings were on-point but shrimp was very thin and fish filets were basically fried batter.)
Atmosphere was typical mid-west diner. Family-friendly. Clean.
