This was honestly the best pizza joint I've never been to. The pizza was amazing, I celebrated my birthday there and got their birthday dessert. It was scrumptious, it was delicious, absolutely savory, rich and cooked in a small cast iron skillet. It's a half baked cookie with ice cream. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had.

First time ever to Decorah and we stopped for lunch at Mabe's. Located in a very nice downtown. My group shared a BBQ chicken pizza and a Taco Supreme pizza. Both were very good.
Several American selections on the menu, burgers, chicken, pizza, etc.... The customer next to us had chicken and it looked and smelled wonderful. All of the service staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely stop in again!!

Quaint little family pizza place on the main street of Decorah. Thin crust pizza made quickly with a few speciality ones on the mebu as well. I had the 4 meat large pizza which will feed 4. Don't like pizza? Try a reasonable priced chicken sandwhich or burger!

Best pizza anywhere. I grew up in Decorah and now live in Idaho. Mabes is the first place I go when coming home to Iowa. I even get half-baked pizzas frozen to take home with me for family. I just wish they would open a store in Boise, Idaho.

Very good pizza, great crust. The dining space could be updated but it was clean and got pretty busy on a Monday night. Service was "okay" but the pizza came out quickly, in any case. I'd go back!

Classic small-town pizza joint with friendly service, a pretty decent pie, and affordable pricing. We were there for a Saturday lunch and it was fairly busy; I imagine it's a hoppin' place on weekend evenings. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Went in ordered a 12 inch pizza, after about a half an hour, we had to flag down our waitress to get another drink, the server came back and asked us what we ordered on our pizza, she said it would just be a few minutes, total of 40 minutes still hadn’t seen the pizza, people that came in at the same time as us were almost done eating, another person that ordered after us had her pizza, I went up to just pay for my drinks, no apology just a “it’ll be two minutes honey”so we left. Terrible customer service.
