Panera Bread

Good food, but always short staffed. Check your order to ensure nothing’s missing. Went to dine in this evening and sign on the door says “take out only because of staffing issues.” Again. This has to be one of the most poorly managed places around. But I keep going back because we have limited options and the food’s pretty good.

Poorly managed. Front counter girl named Amber at the Decatur, Il location is the friendliest with all customers. She not only worked the front but was also working dining area as well. Don’t see how one person can do both jobs. Meanwhile, the manager was just standing in the background and not helping. That is not manger material.

The food(baja grain bowl, half Greek salad, minestrone soup) was pretty good but the servings were small and costly. It's just a matter of time that kidneys and blood plasma become acceptable forms of payment!!! All jokes aside in decatur panera is one of my favorite places to eat, not only is the food good, but the free wifi is nice way to knock out a last minute paper or catch up on homework. It's also one of the few places in decatur that still has fresh fruits and vegetables on its menu. No matter how much I might pay for a bowl of soup and a few leaves of lettuce, it will always be cheaper then triple bypass heart surgery! LoL

Well, went in a little bias, my girlfriends joy of the place made me feel like giving it a shot and clearing the slate. I may be keen to their cooking methodology but what I am aware of in cooking a panini is it shouldn't be capable of breaking teeth, and what I do know about steak is it shouldn't posses nearly an entire bottle of pepper between 7 combined ounces. I'm glad the place is large in terms of floor space, because otherwise guests would have the vast joy of listening to the line poke fun at the outfits and mannerisms of the guests.
