We haven't been to Steinbeck's in a long time, but after today's experience we will definitely be back more often. Maddie, our server, could not have been more attentive, helpful and polite. Outstanding service and delicious food! The Darwin fried chicken sandwich and the fish & chips were both amazing, as were the several beers we enjoyed.

Tried Steinbecks for the 1st time tonite. Great little local intimate place with outdoor dining available. A good selection of local beers. The service was excellent. I tried the Vietnamese Wings, which were outstanding! I can honestly say these were the best wings I have ever had. Don't pass this one up. I'll be back!

OMG . Best….. very best… food, I have had in a restaurant in a long time. 4 out of 4 raving about their food and drinks. Knocked it right out of the park.
Hot, fresh and excellent service. First time and we are already coordinating a date to go back. Server said he could not recommend as everything was excellent. He was right! That says it all. I think I stabbed someone that was trying to get a taste… Oops 😅

Small menu, big tastes. Steinbeck's gets it. You don't need a large menu. Pick a small group of items and make them well. In spite of their small menu, believe Steinbeck's has something for everyone. They have some standard American, Asian, and in between. We had the burger, Japenese, breakfast, pork vindaloo, and crispy eggplant fries. The eggplant fries were absolutely incredible. Crispier than I could have imagined. They were tasty on their own but they were awesome with the chili crisp. The pictures online show cilantro and scallions. It would have been nice to have it on my order. The standard burger with their Million sauce was cooked medium well but it was as juicy and tasty as any burger I've had. The pork in the Japanese breakfast was cooked perfectly with some subtle soy sweet glaze. I've never had pork vindaloo so I can't speak to the authenticity but it was good. Although I like spicy and Indian dishes it wasn't in my top list of Indian food.
The people were all very friendly and attentive and their is a great small pub atmosphere. Steinbeck's will be at the top of our list the next time we are in the area.

Love the atmosphere. It’s small/intimate vibe - great place to chit chat with friends. Went for brunch and the food was great. I went with Leah’s favorite. My friend had the steak and eggs special- which was also fantastic. Serve was “ok” - had to ask for everything vs being offered. Other than that - no complaints.

This place has hands down the most underrated food in Atlanta. It's an ever changing menu, but it always features (randomly) a few amazing Asian offerings. They always have a rotating selection of pretty incredible, and rare draft beer, and the best part about it, I can almost always get a table. So, seriously, please, keep not coming here.

Great neighborhood “Whiskey” bar in Oakhurst. Located close to Decatur, this a great place to hangout. The food is fantastic on an ever rotating menu full of seasonal offerings. They also have a variety of craft beer available and yes whiskey. Reminds me of a true Irish pub.
They have a great little patio are that is perfect for having a couple of cocktails or especially nice to enjoy brunch. Order the Chinese breakfast complete with crispy pork belly.
A secret tip... order the house burger (it’s off menu) complete with bacon, fresh jalapeños and pimento cheese. Oh Yeah!
And, if you’re in the neighborhood... they throw one hell of a good party on St. Paddy’s day; live music, drink specials and give aways.
