I tried Downtown Deli today for lunch. I want to give this business 5 stars because my Henry sandwich was truly tasteful BUT I was thoroughly disgusted by the amount of fat I pulled off my sandwich. For close to 9 bucks I thought I would have more meat than fat on my sandwich. I took a picture but I don't see the feature for uploading on my phone for this review. If this business offered lean cuts for an additional charge I would pay it because despite the overload of fat on the meats, the sandwich wasn't bad. Won't be returning until they have an option for lean.

This place has great deli meat sandwiches. We've been looking for a halal restaurant with good deli meat options (corned beef, pastrami, etc) and this place fits that description perfectly. The prices are decent, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly. Try it out!

If you want a good deli experience come to Downtown Deli in West Dearborn. I've been here a couple of times now and the service is consistent. The sandwiches are delicious, and they make an awesome chili. The Henry seems to be the signature sandwich that everyone likes to try, so I would recommend starting with that (and some pastrami chili). In addition to excellent food, Downtown Deli has a friendly and fine staff that knows how to make customers feel good. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. Quality deli.

This place has the freshest food friendly employees and atmosphere. priced right for what they give. Will certainly coming back many times. My wife and kids also enjoyed very much.

Unsure if under new ownership but since the new menu everything tastes bland. Seems as if meats are no longer house made and they're using packaged instead. Very disappointed with my last two visits.

Corned Beef was Processed meat and the Russian Dressing was blah! I Should of went to Detroit to get an authentic Corned Beef Sandwich. Please don't waste your money
