Awesome, authentic southern diner with a heavy dose of southern hospitality. Our server Angela was the best! We had the pumpkin pancakes and they were fantastic. The regular pancakes were quite good too. But our favorite was the country fried chicken and fresh homemade biscuit. It was deliciously juicy and the breading itself was crisp and peppery. The food came out quickly and we were seated quickly as well. Prices were very reasonable. I can’t complain.
Went on a Monday afternoon for lunch. It was full of people, but not to the point that service suffered. Our waitress was very attentive and showed up just enough to be helpful but not so much that she was interrupting. We both ordered the Pastrami Reuben, a lunch special, and it was spot on!! The meat was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of sauerkraut, Swiss and thousand island. The marble rye was toasted to perfection. Sides were fried okra, french fries and onion rings. We are definitely going back !
Ate there a couple of times, usually for lunch, as they close at two. I have had the hamburger, county fried steak. For breakfast I have had fried mushrooms, with meat lovers omelet. For lunch, I recommend the beef brisket sandwich, if available.
On June 21 my grandson and I went to breakfast, after the waitress pulled an order out of grandson, I ordered the grouper bites.
Sep had the lunch flounder, with sweet potato fries. It was good.
Living in the area for few years and finally decided to visit this brunch place and I was very impressed with the service & price besides its the only place that has offered me pancakes as choice if i dont want toast. Waiting time was fair and servers are awesome. Overall is a good place to enjoy a good brunch. I'll definitely will return.
First time coming to Davenport Diner, and had a great time. The food was delicious, the staff was super nice, so next time I am in town I will be coming back for sure. We are always looking for new places to try out, so for those that haven’t been yet I would recommend.
This diner is a hidden gem that we wouldn’t have found without our neighbors who have lived in Florida and we just moved from Colorado!

I really enjoyed the food here. I came for breakfast, and was unsure if I should order pancakes as I am picky about my pancakes. Lol. However, should not have worried as they were an option along with biscuits or toast. I took the leap and had the pancakes as my add-on. So glad I did! Fantastic pancakes! The rest of the meal was also very good. I love good diner food, and this did not disappoint. The service we received was excellent.
This was my first time visiting Davenport Diner with a dear friend who eats there frequently and I was not disappointed!
Great atmosphere and food, but most of all excellent service thanks to our server Angela who went over and beyond!

Nice little diner in Davenport. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The food came out quick. What more can you ask for. I will say it was busy and their was a wait, but not as long as you would see at other breakfast places. It seems to be a popular place to eat at. I would suggest you get here before 11am.
First time visiting this Diner. I loved it. Food was made as ordered and it was delicious. Betsy our waitress was excellent. She was super friendly and took care of all of us. Thanks for an outstanding service. I definitely recommend.
