Always a great restaurant! The food tastes fresh and is served hot. Great, friendly, helpful staff! The special, Potato Cakes Benny, was delicious and served with a "smile"!
Downers Grove best little kept secret! I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Did a Google search to try something new. Fast seating, hot food, server Denise was a little slow but very friendly. On a disappointing note, restaurants need to offer more sugar free options other than sugar free syrup. No available sugar free jellies.

Went here twice and ordered a Denver Omelet w/ American cheese, hash browns and an English muffin to go. Food was very good and both times I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Once on a Saturday. Ladies on the front counter were great and attentive. Will definitely be back.
This place was excellent! There was not much parking when we arrived and we had to park a couple of lots back. It was very busy but we waited only about 15-20 minutes on a Saturday morning. After about 5 minutes of being seated, the host came and asked if we could actually move to a different table, which was fine with us — and he gave us each a free fresh squeezed orange juice that was delicious! I got the country Benedict and it was super tasty. My fiancé and I shared the special of the day which was black cherry cheesecake crepes and they were to die for. We were served a platter of syrup and jams which we ended up not needing, but the jams were soooo yummy and the syrup was served warm. 10/10 would recommend and it was a lot cheaper than our usual breakfast place.
Definitely a great spot for breakfast. The staff is always courteous and friendly !!!

When I’m in Darien this is my go to breakfast spot . My wife and I went there again this morning , I got the pancake combo(not that many combos on the menu) in addition to two pancakes ,it came with (2) eggs (2) strips of bacon and (2) sausages. I almost forgot about the small glass of orange juice .
Everything was good , despite the restaurant having a typical Saturday morning crowd ....we were seated in about 5 minutes.

Love the food! The waffles are super cute! Had to remind the server that I wanted coffee twice after telling her multiple times while she served other people at my table. Definitely will come back though. The prices are a bit high but affordable. Reminds me of egg Harbor
The staff were very friendly and attentive. The extra touches like the homemade strawberry jelly, boysenberry jam and maple syrup were big pluses.
The food was good, except for the pancakes were a little dry, probably too much baking powder in the batter.
Otherwise, it was a really good experience.
Nice clean and comfortable atmosphere with fast service. Many menu options and large portions. Will come back again
Crowded. Staff able to keep up. Nice selection for breakfast. IMO, some entrees are best in area.
