Very good, generous and creative sandwiches. Soup is homemade. Prices reasonable- lots of takeout business. Blue, white collar, retired, Latinos, young, old… many regulars. All welcome. Delightful.

I’ve been going to Jakes for 15 years now, and even though I moved from the town years ago, I make a point of visiting whenever I can. This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had- and the bacon is amazing. The waitresses are extremely friendly and still remember my name and order after all these years- even though I cant come by as often anymore. The owner, Jeff, is always there and is personally helping out and making conversation. Everyone working here works hard- and clearly love their jobs. Definitely make a point of visiting!

Just picked up some egg sandwiches inside of hashbrowns for my family. The food was great we are new in town he surprised. The hash was top notch! We live within walking distance and now it will be a cute place to walk to For good food and family friendly dining

The owner Jeff started off as a caterer before buying this diner and the quality of his food is top notch. The interior of diner is basic but very clean. It is crowded at the height of lunch time but that’s because the food is so good. I’d be worried if it wasn’t crowded.
