Don't. Even. Get. Me. Started. On. This. Place.
We were staying in Massachusetts for the weekend, and thought it would be a great idea to grab something to eat. While searching for around an hour for the perfect restaurant through the long, highway strips, my family and I finally saw a bright, neon red and yellow sign, called: "99". In a desperate need to end our hunger, my family and I decided to go in there for dinner.
Boy, was that a mistake.
Firstly, an obnoxious, old woman situated us into a booth, having little to no teeth in her mouth, mind you. And next, we were greeted by the "nose ringed" waitress, who was kind but had absolutely no class, to the point where she had the audacity to pull her jeans up right near my daughter's face, panties showing and all, how unsanitary!
After a 45 minute wait due to the chef apparently have a "mishap in the kitchen" according to the waitress, our food finally arrived. My steak was super cold, not cooked at all, while by daughter's steak was super bloody and rough. It felt as though this restaurant tried to be classy, but failed miserably. And even more, the food was heavily priced, and did not match the quality at all, as opposed to Friday's (a restaurant we went to the next day for dinner), which had reasonable prices and delicious food.
99 should take some inspiration from its fellow restaurants, because as a tourist in Massachusetts, I was extremely disappointed by the trashy environment, people, and food (the only reason why this has a 2 star rating is because the drinks were decent).

The worst 99 ever, asked for two appetizers and four entrees for my family, waitress asked if I wanted appetizers first I confirmed it. Then waited more than 20 minutes no appetizers but she brought only the entrees. I asked for my appetizers but she forgot to make an order. I said it’s fine I can’t wait longer. Turns out she brought the meals without any silverware. We had to go and look for that ourselves the food got very cold and seafood smelled funny couldn’t finish my plate, and not even an apology. As a food service worker/ Manager this was the worst experience ever on all levels, wonder what was she smoking before showing up to work. No need to mention her name maybe she was on training. But I paid lots of money for food that made my stomach upset. Never again

A rowdy, loud place- the type you'd expect at a typical highway pub/restaurant. The customers were pretty sweet, being that as a tourist in Massachusetts for the weekend, they welcomed us with open arms and wished for us to enjoy the meal.
However the meal was... about average.
The strawberry lemonade was good, and the server was sweet. But, the food was not fully cooked, and the wait was a bit long. Waiting that long, along with the loudness of everyone can get a bit irritating. Didn't waste my time on ordering dessert after the meal, though.
If you are fine with an average meal, check this place out; if not, keep searching for something else.

Brought a friend to the 99 in Danvers to celebrate his birthday and we both had a very tasty salmon dinner at a very reasonable price. Our server Tonya was the best. Her pleasant manner contributed much to our enjoyable visit.

I have always loved the 99 restaurants. This one is just as good as the rest in my opinion. The food here has always been delicious for me. And there steak isnt the best but still is in one of my top 5 places to get steak 😋

I don’t even know where to begin. First of all you go for lunch, and they don’t have a lunch menu so you have to order a dinner meal at dinner prices. I got plain Mac and cheese that costs me $12.00. When it came out, I kid you not the portion was for a child. My aunt couldn’t get anything for under $10.00 so she got a vanilla sundae which had a drop of fudge on it and a bit of whip cream and that was $5.00. The waiters although I gave her a $5.00 tip was not even worried that she could tell we were upset. Didn’t care not her fault of inflation! Ya. So another waitress said are you guys upset. I said yes I am. She said let me get you the manager. Well that was a joke. All she said was sorry, so sorry for the portion size of the max & cheese and the disaster sundae. Sorry, sorry sorry. Nothing like let me give you a credit for at least the ice cream. She did nothing & as far as I’m concerned make the customer happy. Don’t have them leave upset. Well, I did. This was Friday at 2:00 in Danvers. These 99 restaurants will all soon be closed down. Disaster. Stay away. I know I am. The manager did absolutely nothing. Your finest restaurants will take something off your bill. This is what destroys restaurants. Her job will be gone!!!!!

Went there at 3:30 in the afternoon with my 2 daughters..it was slow & peaceful but The food was horrible and cold! Loaded Mashed potatoes seemed like they just came out of the fridge ice cold as well as the tenders! Very disappointed

This was one of the few places open on the 4th of July, and the service was no different than what we've come to expect at the Nines. The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and courteous, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained.
