Calitri's Italian Cuisine

I wanted to try a new Italian restaurant & this place was the closest at the time. The place itself is really nice inside with plenty of seating & spacious as well. The service was friendly & welcoming. The menu was pretty big with lots of options. The portions were really good & had plenty to eat from. My only problem was taste wise it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. The chicken pasta with broccoli had no flavor & I don’t know why but I ended up just eating half of it. The buffalo calamari was good & the popcorn shrimp were ok as well. In the end it’s not as great as people say & it’s not as bad Overall ok.

This is a nice family restaurant for large groups, etc. You get rather large portions and the prices aren't bad. The pasta is homemade and delicious. My wife ordered the raviolis with pesto sauce - which were very good. I ordered an individual sized pepperoni pizza and it was great - good size and very crunchy. The restaurant is a little dated looking and the service wasn't the fastest, but the food was worth it. I'd come again.

It was our first time there. We read the reviews and most of them were good. Well let me tell you; our waitress was excellent, the appetizer was delicious. We order the mussles, the main meal...we took half home..... so much. Drinks were excellent, try the mango martini. Dessert was delicious. We will return.

Usually if the food isn't good, the service is great. Or if the service isn't good, the food is great, so it works out. Not here. The bartender didn't know how to make a martini with 2 ingredients in it. She had to look it up. She didn't know how to pronounce an Italian dish on your menu, by saying, "here is your saltim..... Something. I'm not Italian." And neither are we. She was unprofessional. The food wasn't worth us coming back.
