I ran across this restaurant by mistake but it was a mistake well worth it. Very nice customer service The food is amazing Cajun food and even regular for the non spicy people. The boudin balls amazing Catfish, fried pickles, and fried Mac n cheese are amazing. I was not disappointed and will definitely return. Only down fall is you can not go in to sit and eat, but it’s worth the grab and go.

Everyone has different experiences. It's all about your taste. Pretty good to me. Don't come here expecting apple bees seasoned food. Which is why most people complain. They hate well seasoned food. If u from areas like this you'll understand what I mean

Customer service was great Lots of friendly people that work here , really down to earth , had great conversations with the staff. Food came out on timely manner Enjoyed hot food. Usually don’t go to small restaurants, but had to try it since I ended up in the area. Keep it up great job guys.

The wait area is small and unwelcoming! The wait area is alway hot, they should put in air or a portable area cooling unit The menu needs to be updated There are tape on the floor and wall that should be removed and cleaned There are area of the wall and counter that is peeling and needs to be repaired They need to wipe down and disinfect the front area They do need to care about the customer or the customer need to hold them to a standard, it’s kept like a hood spot! but the food ok for the price alway hot

Updating review*** After 4 months of going to Funkdafried at least 2 to 3 times a week. This has been my go to place. Im particular about my chicken so I dont just go anywhere. The staff is always friendly and they call me by name everytime I go in. Personally, I think its better than Church's, Hendersons and Williams. It will have you looking for crumbs at the bottom of the carton once you are done!. Please go support this black owned business asap....you wont be disappointed

I ordered 1 fish and 3vwings combo. It was fresh and hot. The taste was good. The food is well seasoned so if you don't like season maybe you should ask if they can lightly season. It was fried crisp and golden brown. However the tartar sauce good be better. Definitely my spot when I want chicken.

Food rocks and everything I've eaten has been fantastic. But the challenge is is that they have pictures of other stuff like gumbo and boudin ball and some other things and it looks so good but they don't even sell it anymore. I say either bring those items back or take the pictures off the walls
