I thought that this place has great good! I am not an Indian food expert, but I have had Indian food at a few places and I think that this place is one of the better ones. I was recommended the butter chicken and it was really good. It came with rice and in a buttery and mildly spicy sauce, which was really good. I got samosas and the spicy naan and both of those were great. I really liked the somosas in the green sauce. It was a little spicy, good and savory. The naan had a great flavor and want overly spicy. Also, it was great doing the naan in the sauce! The only draw back it that they don't serve any alcohol, but it's worth it for the food!
Delicious Dum Biriyani and Mutton Sukka (fry).
They just opened in September. I took a leap of faith and was pleasantly surprised.
Clean utensils, beautifully served in copper bottomed vessels.
The goat fry (mutton sukka) will bring me back. Yummy and authentic.
Outstanding service too !!!
Definitely coming back...
Food is great. Went there couple of times for lunch and the buffet is awesome. They keep changing the menu for buffet so this way i get to try new dishes. The preparation is awesome, served hot n fresh and is tasty. It was finger licking good, and one or two dishes are made authentic Indian spicy. I will recommend it to anyone who wishes to taste Indian food. You will also get a good variety of vegetarian options as well with desserts. A great big combo of buffet including everything for a modest price. I am lovin it!!! Great food. The weekend lunch buffet is one of the best around.
Having frequented at least a dozen Indian restaurants around the Dallas area in the last few years, Vedika stands out as some of the best I've had yet. The place is spacious and welcoming. The service is friendly and prompt. The portions are generous. The food is simply outstanding. I highly recommend giving them a try!
I hosted my kids first Birthday party recently at Vedika. They provided a range of options to select the food items, made it easy to select , the hospitality was great. The banquet hall was spacious. Coming to the main thing, the FOOD was 'Awesome' (double thumbs up), they provided two people to serve exclusively for the party -- the service was 'Awesome'. Price was reasonable. In short : Food was Great, Banquet Hall was Great, Service was Great, Price was reasonable.
Highly recommend! If you want the best Indian food that has something for everyone, this is the place to go. I have been to this restaurant several times with my friends in the past few months. From the moment you walk into the restaurant, all are greeted by the staff who are very professional. The food is excellent. I was pleased with everything and the staff watch over your needs appropriately. The food truly tastes fresh. Buffet option is great too. Very clean inside too. Gobi Manchurian, Karampodi Chicken, Tandoor Sizzlers, Chicken Curries & Biryani's were Authentic & Great choices.
Food was very good. We ordered veg. pakoda, Andhra chicken curry, and Mysore masala dosa. Everything tasted great. But, the chicken was very over-cooked. The only other issue is that it didn't feel like a nice restaurant. The decor is more like a cheap cafeteria. If I could make one suggestion it would be that I wished they offered a Thali plate. To me, that is my favorite way to eat Indian food. Only getting some rice and one curry isn't representing Indian food to the best you can. I'll definitely go back.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Carrollton area. Been to this place probably 4-5 times in past two months. Very authentic Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, perhaps the best I have tried. In addition to the biryani, I have tried masala dosa, several chicken dishes, Chole Bhatura, indo-chinese items. I have taken many of my office colleagues here and everyone enjoyed the food.
Staff here is very friendly!
Have been to this restaurant several times with my cousins and friends, I like their menu as it keeps changing and allows me to try different dishes at reasonable prices and especially I like their goat biryani and chicken 65 dishes. And their weekend lunch buffet is one of my favorite as we can get variety of dishes. I suggest this restaurant especially if you want to taste the Indian food with variety of dishes and at affordable prices.
Stopped in for their Independence Day Buffet and it smelled amazing when we walked in. We were immediately greeted by someone who poured us water and showed us to the buffet. Lots of options to choose from, vegetarian and none. Everything I had was great. I wish they had naan in their buffet, but everything I had was great. We will be back!
