Doug Brown is an amazing chef, great employer and just all around good guy, he's got a temperament you've got to love, he only puts the best out there
This place is great! The soup bar is great during the cold season and the salad bar is perfect for the summer! The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Its an awesome grab & go place when you're on the run and don't have much time for lunch or to prepare dinner. Lots of healthy options as well! I'm definitely going back!
All packaged and hot meals are half off on Fridays after 3pm...enough said. I stock up enough for the next week, just get there by 2:45pm. If you like salads you can also get there before 9am for 30% off. The food is good too so that's a plus!

Here’s my amateur food critic’s review of my first experience there:
Great location. Easy to move around inside. Parking could be a problem as the word spreads.
Service was stellar. They give tastes of anything/everything.
The CousCous salad in the deli case was inedible. Just too sour all around.
The Charred tomato soup was fantastic – a Thai flavor about it.
The “Sex on the Beach” chicken salad was yummo – lots of chewy fruits.
The Chicken Cordon Bleu was a bit dry, but not bad.
The Lasagna Bolognese, while a fabulous flavor, contained extremely overcooked pasta. Most of you foodies know a gummy pasta ruins the whole thing.
The Wild Mushroom Risotto “cake” (think crabcake-shaped, not birthday cake) was creamy, good and perfect for a vegetarian looking for a nice side to an entree.
The individual serving of dark chocolate mousse cake was heaven, enough to share for days it’s so rich. While I didn’t try the pie, they are just as cute as the dickens.
Love the gourmet doggy treat section, just make sure you’re reading the labels and keeping your groceries straight. Got mine to go, so have nothing to add about the seating area off to the side. Will definitely visit again. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Beyond the Box catered a meeting I was at in Plano today. I had the veggie wrap and it was delicious (now trying to find the nutritional info since I am currently on a diet).
I will definitely consider Beyond the Box for any event I need yummy food for a crowd.
This place rocks! Healthy food, great selection and reasonable prices. To the amature food critic: get over yourself. If you have been in this business you know that you will never be hit with everyone and it is impossible to be 100% perfect all of the time. But at least here the food is consistantly wholesome and good and I do not feel like I overpaid.
This is my go to place for lunch. Salads are huge and they have such a great variety. There's a lot of fresh stuff at the counter too, including healthy drinks. One of those places you could eat multiple times a week.
Great selection of healthy salads, vegetables, and meals to grab and go if you're in a hurry. During the lunch week, they have a special of either tilapia or chicken with two sides for $8.00!
California Chicken dish was a hit with our clients during lunch meeting!! Delicious chicken, potatoes, fresh green beans & salad!! WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!
