Do yourself a favor, and try this place if you’re ever in the neighborhood. Their ribs were nice and thick, and the meat slid right off the bone. I chose the jalapeño rub and it added some welcomed heat. The pulled pork dissolved as I chewed, and all of it was very tasty, even the cobbler made with fresh peaches. Super friendly staff too!
Best BBQ for the price. My favorite place for barbeque! I tell most of my friends about his place and everyone one of them that visits says it's great!
Stopped here for convenience but really enjoyed the meal.. I was in the area so I could go to the acoustic jam at the Sons of Hermann hall that has been held Thursday nights for 20 years. Baker's is very close by. I stopped in and had a brisket and sausage plate with green and pinto beans. The brisket was juicy and salty in a good way. I tend to eat barbecue without sauce and it was not needed here. I prefer a course grind in my sausage which this was not, but the flavor was good - with a little bit of heat. The portion I received was also plentiful, so I did not leave hungry. The atmosphere is all Texas in a newer way - not your typical smokey BBQ joint, but still terrific. Stop by the next time you're in the Deep Ellum area.

I don't care for their ribs, but the brisket and sliced pork are always good. Wish I had room for fried pie for dessert.
Great. Picked to go BBQ twice at this new location on Main. Sliced beef, ribs and turkey all outstanding. Potato salad and cole slaw very good also. My new favorite BBQ in Dallas .
Some of the best ever.. If you like slow cooked ribs, this is heaven. We had the combo plate for under $10, 2 meats and 2 sides. The ribs were to die for. The sliced brisket was a tad dry till we added the majic sauce. More than we could eat. The potatoe salad is the best. The beans could have been a little better, but finished them in style. Be sure to park in the lot next door. $5, but takes the worry out of being booted or ticketed.

Pretty good barbecue. I recommend getting their fried okra as a side and also their pulled pork is tasty. The service was good and the overall atmosphere was nice (nicely decorated!) also has a self serve pickle area.
lunch special or the sandwich plate is the way to go! plus free vanilla soft serve, BUT I usually get a fried cherry handpie..... so good.
The food here is excellent! The staff = awesome! There is no wrong thing to eat here, try it all.

One of the best BBQ places I've tried. they have bell peppers and banana peppers and other goodies to customize your meal.
We love ribs. And have eaten them all over town. Baker's Ribs by far are the most taste that we've eaten. They said that, their Ribs was the best tasting BBQ in Texas. Well to that, we agreed. With the exception of the potato salad, all the side dishes were very good. Thanks Don you was right!
They say never judge a book by its cover. So I didn't. The food was excellent. I got the 2 meat plate of brisket and ribs with green beans. Not to mention they have free ice cream for dine in guests. Can't beat that with a stick. We ended the night by taking some apple and peach cobbler home for after dessert dessert.
Great food. Clean shop. Most brisket. Tender ribs. Smokey sausage. Tasty sauce. Specialty fountain drinks and good iced tea. Be sure to ask for bread; the 3-meat plate didn't come with it by default and I was expecting to find it at the condiment bar but ended up doing without. Still a great meal and great food.

I enjoyed having their fried pecan pie, which I had after having their grilled pork with 2 sides. Don't miss having a slice of any of those fried pies, they have choices for whatever you may be if you find yourself here. The real sugar lemonade was grand from the dispenser, I had at least 2 refills. Service was very friendly and helpful, I wasn't used to such service.
Prior to this visit I had only gotten BBQ plates. The BBQ is good and worthwhile if you're looking for BBQ. The double Cheeseburger I got on this visit was great and definitely beats out fast food joints. They grind the beef for the burgers in house. The fries tasted fresh cut and were perfectly cooked.
