If you like Texas Blues and want an environment as close as possible to the old juke joints, this place is for you. Reasonably priced drinks, comfortable chairs and live music on most weekend nights. In 1912 Hart Wand put out the first Blues song- Dallas Blues and here you have right smack in the center of Dallas an original Blues Bar.
Your standard drinks are here, PBR to Coors but if your hankering for a drink with a diminutive umbrella, maybe not.

We went to the Goat on a Thursdsy night. The place was hopping. There was a band playing and the crowd was chill. There is a large area to dance, and the music was authentic and real. The guys in the band were friendly and polite. The establishment was clean and tidy. The workers behind the bar were on spot and attentive. The lady made us special shots as well. (Cinnamon toast crunch). I will definitely go back to The Goat for a fun place to hang out.
Great dive bar. Only bar I frequent in the city of Dallas. There are no pretentions here. Beer is cold, music is great. They have jam bands on the weekends. Place is jumping. Pool table is always running. Snake, the bartender is the best.
Old school place. Go today!!!! Only reason I didn't give any stars for food is the last time I was there they didn't have any. But they do have potlucks and there is a few restaurants in the area they allow you to bring food in.

One of the best dive bars in Dallas. Cheap drinks and great service. Live bands on Friday and Saturday nights.

Small but nice bar... like a family-type bar... everybody knows everyone! Very cozy back patio (smoking area). Inside tables, chairs, bar stools, a pool table, a juke box, 4 TVs & a small stage for local weekend bands! They also have a Ladies night & karaoke. I really like it!!
One hole in the wall place you have to go! Friendly people that just ant to have angood time other live band. Everybody nice.
